Woe to the unclean and defiled city, the oppressor!
He does not listen to the voice, he does not accept instruction, he does not trust in the Lord, he does not approach his God.
His princes in the middle of it are roaring lions, his judges are evening wolves, who do not leave a single bone until morning.
His prophets are frivolous people, treacherous; His priests defiled the holy things, they trampled the law.
The Lord is righteous in the midst of him, he does no wrong, every morning he shows his judgment unchanged; But the wicked know no shame.
th I have destroyed the nations, their strongholds have been destroyed; They made their streets empty, so that no one walks about them anymore; Ruined their cities: there is no one man, no inhabitants.
th I said: "Fear only of me, take counsel!" And his dwelling shall not be cut off, nor shall evil comprehend it which I have determined concerning it; And they diligently tried to spoil all their actions.

Therefore wait for Me, says the Lord, until the day that I rise to be devastated, for by me it is determined to assemble the nations, to summon kingdoms, to pour out my indignation upon them, all the wrath of my wrath; For with the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be devoured.
Then again I will give the people a clean mouth, that everyone should call on the name of the Lord and serve Him unanimously.
Out of the rivers of Ethiopia, my followers, the children of my scattered ones, will bring me gifts.
eleven On that day you will not disgrace yourself with all your actions as you have sinned against Me, for then I will remove your nobility from your midst, and you will not be more proud in my holy mountain.
But I will leave among you a humble and simple people, and they will trust in the name of the Lord.
The remnants of Israel will not do untruths, they will not speak lies, and there will be no cunning in the mouth of their tongue, for they will graze and rest, and no one will disturb them.

Rejoice, daughter of Zion! Triumph, Israel! Be merry and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem!
The Lord overturned your sentence, drove out your enemy! The Lord, the king of Israel, is in the midst of you: you will no longer see evil.
In that day they will say to Jerusalem, "Do not be afraid," and to Zion: "Let not your hands be weak!"
th The Lord your God is in your midst, He is able to save you; He will rejoice over you with joy, he will be merciful in his love, he will triumph over you with exultation.
I will gather the lamenters about solemn festivals: they are yours, they are repented of.
Behold, I will distress all your oppressors at that time, and save the lame, and assemble the scattered, and bring them into honor and eminence in this whole land of their reproach.
At that time I will bring you and then I will assemble you, for I will make you eminent and honorable among all the nations of the earth, when I return your captivity before your eyes, says the Lord.
