and said, [David] all the congregation of Israel, If ye think good, and if it is the will of the Lord our God, let us send abroad to our brethren in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites in their cities and suburbs, so they came to us; |

And let us bring again the ark of our God, because we have not been accessed in the days of Saul. |

And all the congregation said: 'So be it', because this thing to all the people seemed fair. |

So David assembled all Israel, from Shihor of Egypt even to the entrance of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim. |

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, which is in Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God, the Lord sitting upon the cherubim, whose name is [His]. |
