John 1

About what was from the beginning, what we heard, what we saw with our eyes, what we considered and what our hands felt about the Word of life,
For life has appeared, and we have seen and bear witness, and declare to you this eternal life that was with the Father and appeared to us,
That which we have seen and heard declare unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: but our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
And these things we write to you, that your joy may be full.

And this is the gospel that we heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him.
th If we say that we have fellowship with Him, but walk in darkness, then we lie and do not act in truth;
th But if we walk in the light, just as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He, being faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, then we present Him as lying, and His word is not in us.
