And he took the people of the land Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king instead of his father in Jerusalem.
Twenty-three years was Jehoahaz when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
And the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
And the king of Egypt over Judah and Jerusalem Eliakim his brother, and changed his name to Jehoiakim, and Jehoahaz his brother, Neco took and carried him to Egypt.
Twenty-five years [is] Jehoiakim in his reigning, and eleven years he reigned in Jerusalem. And he did evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
House of the LORD carried of the vessels Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon, and put them in his temple in Babylon.
Other acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in it, written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
Eighteen years [is] Jehoiachin in his reigning, and three months and ten days he reigned in Jerusalem, and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.
At the end of the year king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and the king over Judah and Jerusalem Zedekiah his brother.

eleven Twenty-one years [is] Zedekiah in his reigning, and eleven years he reigned in Jerusalem,
and he did evil in the sight of the LORD his God. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet [prophesied] from the mouth of the LORD,
and rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had sworn to him [the name of] God, --and he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from the fact that it is not turned to the Lord God of Israel.
Moreover all the chief of the priests and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
And he sent them to the Lord God of their fathers, His messengers, rising up betimes, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place.
But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord came down against his people, so it was not [his] salvation.
Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, --and who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their holy places, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, neither old man nor the white-haired: all gave [God] in his hand.
And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.
And they burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
And them that he left the sword to Babylon, and they were his servants, and his sons, until the reign of the Persian king,
Until, that the word of the Lord [said] by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. All the days of the desolation it kept sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

And in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, that the word of the Lord [said] the mouth of Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also in writing, and to say:
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God has given me in heaven, and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you - of all his people, [let it be] the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.
