Acts of the Apostles 14

In Iconium they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great multitude of Jews and Greeks believed.
And the unbelieving Jews stirred and provoked the hearts of the Gentiles against the brethren.
However, they stayed [here] for quite some time, boldly acting on the Lord, who, in testimony to the word of his grace, worked with their hands signs and wonders.
Meanwhile, the people in the city were divided: and some were on the side of the Jews, and others were on the side of the Apostles.
But when the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers rushed upon them, to shame and stone them,
th They, having learned [about this], retired to the Lycaonian towns of Lystra and Derbe and in their neighborhood,
th And there preached the gospel.

In Lystra, a certain husband, who did not own his feet, sat chrome from his mother's womb, and never walked.
He listened to Paul, who, having looked at him and saw that he had faith to receive healing,
Said in a loud voice: I say to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: Stand on your feet straight. And immediately he jumped up and began to walk.
eleven The people, seeing what Paul did, raised their voice, speaking in a Lycaonian way: the gods in the human form came to us.
And they called Barnabas Zeus, and Paul Hermias, because he was in charge of the word.
The priest [idol] Zeus, who was in front of their city, leading to the gates of oxen and [bringing] wreaths, wanted to make sacrifices with the people.
But the Apostles Barnabas and Paul, when they heard this, tore their clothes, and rushed to the people and said loudly:
Men! What do you do? And we are men like you, and we bring you the gospel, that you turn from these false to the Living God, who created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them,
Who in the past births let all nations walk in their own ways,
th Although he did not cease to give testimony of Himself with good deeds, He gave us rains and fruitful seasons from heaven, and filled us with food and gladness of our hearts.
And, to put it this way, they hardly convinced the people not to sacrifice them and go home to everyone. Meanwhile, as they stayed there, they taught,

Some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and when the [Apostles] boldly preached, they persuaded the people to fall behind them, saying: they do not say anything true, but all lie. And, having provoked the people, they stoned Paul and stole him out of the city, counting him dead.
When the disciples gathered around him, he arose and went into the city, and on the next day he left Barnabas to Derbe.
After preaching the Gospel to this city and acquiring enough disciples, they went back to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch,
Affirming the souls of disciples, exhorting to remain in faith and [teaching] that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.
Having ordained them presbyters to every church, they prayed with fasting and gave them over to the Lord, in whom they believed.
Then, after passing through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia,
And having preached the word of the Lord in Pergia, they went down to Attalia;
th And thence sailed to Antioch, from where they were betrayed by the grace of God to the deed, which they did.
th Arriving there and assembling the church, they told everything that God had done with them and how He opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
And stayed there a lot of time with the students.
