If in the land that the Lord your God gives you for a possession, there will be found the slain lying on the field, and it is not known who killed him,
Then let your elders and your judges go out and measure [the distance] to the cities that are around the slain;
And the elders of the city of the one closest to the slain, let them take the heifer that they did not work on, [and] which did not carry the yoke,
And let the elders of that city take this heifer to a wild valley, which is not designed and sown, and they will slaughter the heifer there in the valley;
And the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come;
th And all the elders of the city that are nearest to the slain shall wash their hands over the head of the heifer slaughtered in the valley,
th And they will declare and say: Our hands have not shed this blood, and our eyes have not seen;
Cleanse thy people Israel, which thou hast redeemed, O LORD, and lay not innocent blood upon thy people Israel. And they will be cleansed of blood.
[So] should you wash away the innocent blood in yourselves, if you want to do [good and] just in the eyes of the Lord.

When you go out to war against your enemies, and the Lord your God will deliver them into your hands, and take them captive,
eleven And you will see between the captives a woman, a beautiful sight, and you will love her, and you will want to take her to your wife,
Then bring her into your house, and let her shave her head and cut off her nails,
And he will take off his captivity from himself, and dwell in your house, and mourns for his father and his mother for a month; And after that you can enter into her and become her husband, and she will be your wife;
If she does not please you, then let her go where she wants, but do not sell her for money and do not turn her into slavery, because you humbled her.

If anyone has two wives - one beloved, and the other unloved, and as a beloved, [so] the unloved will give him sons, and the first-born son will be unloved -
Then, when dividing his own possessions to his sons, he can not give the son of his beloved wife a primacy to the firstborn son of the unloved;
th But the first-born must recognize a son unloved [and] give him a double portion of all that he has, because he is the firstfruits of his power, he [owns] the right of the birthright.

If anyone has a son who is violent and disobedient, disobedient to the voice of his father and the voice of his mother, and they punished him, but he does not listen to them, -
Then his father and his mother shall take him and lead him to the elders of his city and to the gate of his residence
And they will say to the elders of their city, `This is our son who is stormy and rebellious, he does not listen to our words, he is a drunkard and a drunkard ';
Then all the inhabitants of his city shall stone him to death; And thou shalt destroy the evil from among you, and all Israel will hear and fear.
If anyone has a crime worthy of death, and he will be put to death, and you hang him on a tree,
Then his body should not sleep on a tree, but bury him on the same day, for cursed before God is [every] hanged [in the tree], and do not defile your land, which the Lord your God gives you for an inheritance.
