Ezra 6

1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in Babylonia in the library, where the treasures.
2 And Achmetha found in the palace, which is in the province of Media, a roll, and it is written as follows: `For the memory:
3 in the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God in Jerusalem: Let the house is built in the place where they offered sacrifices, and let them be laid solid foundations for it; its height sixty cubits, its breadth sixty cubits;
4 rows of large stones three, and a row of new timber; let the expenses be given out of the king's house.
5 And the vessels of the house of God, gold and silver, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, be restored, and will go to the Temple in Jerusalem, [each] to his place, and place them in the house of God.
6 So, Tattenai, governors beyond the river, and Shetharboznai, and his comrades your Afarsaheyami which are beyond the river, --udalites there.
7 Do not stop the work of this house of God; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.
8 And I make a decree regarding what you shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God, and [is] of the king's property - [from] beyond the river taxes - immediately take it and let the people that work did not stop;
9 and how much you need - young bulls, rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings to God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the priests at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail,
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet God of heaven and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.
eleven I have made a decree, that [if] alter this determination, it will remove the beam out of his house, and he will be raised and nailed to it, and let his house be made a dunghill.
12 And God, whose name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter [these things] to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; Let it be exactly the executable. "

13 Then Tattenai, governors beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, --As Darius the king had, so they did speedily.
14 And the elders of the Jews built and prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished, by the will of the God of Israel and by decree of Cyrus and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.
17 And they offered at the dedication of this house of God one hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering for all Israel, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their the service of God in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month,
20 because the priests and the Levites, they --All, as one [are] pure; and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
21 And they did the children of Israel who had returned from captivity, and all who had separated themselves from the impurity of the peoples of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel.
22 And to celebrate the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy, because the Lord had made them, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria, to strengthen their hands in the structure of the house of the Lord God of Israel.
