And he put the servants and their children ahead, Leah and her children behind them, and Rachel and Joseph behind.
And he went before them and bowed to the ground seven times, coming to his brother.
And Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and wept.

And he looked and saw the wives and the children, and said: Who is this with you? [Jacob] said: The children that God gave to your servant.
th And the maidens and their children came and bowed;
th Leah and her children came and bowed; At last Joseph and Rachel approached and bowed.
And Esau said: Why do you have this set that I met? And Jacob said, "That I may have favor in the sight of my lord."
Esau said: I have many, my brother; Let it be yours.
And Jacob said: No, if I have found favor in your sight, receive my gift from my hand, for I saw your face, as though someone had seen the face of God, and you were favored to me;
eleven Accept my blessing, which I brought to you, because God has given me, and I have everything. And begged him, and he took
And he said, Let us go up, and let us go; And I will go before thee.
And Jacob said to him, My lord knows that the children are tender, and I have milking and cattle; if you drive one day, all the cattle will die;
Let my lord go ahead of his servant, and I will go slowly, as the cattle that is before me go, and how the children will go, and will come to my lord in Seir.
Esau said: "I will leave with you a few of the people who are with me." Jacob said: what's this for? If only I should be pleased in the sight of my master!

And Esau returned the same day by his way to Seir.
th And Jacob moved to Succoth, and built himself a house, and made tents for his livestock. From this he called the name of the place: Succoth.
And Jacob, returning from Mesopotamia, safely came to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, and encamped before the city.
And he bought a part of the field on which he laid his tent, for the sons of Emmor, the father of Sichem, for a hundred coins.
And he built an altar there, and called upon the name of the Lord God of Israel.
