Isaiah 14

His time is near, and his days will not be slowed down, for the Lord will have mercy on Jacob and will again love Israel; And he shall set them on their land, and the strangers shall join them, and shall cling to the house of Jacob.
And the nations shall take them, and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall take them to themselves in the land of the Lord, as slaves and maidservants, and take captives captive of it, and shall reign over their oppressors.
And it shall come to pass in that day, when the LORD shall give thee of thy affliction, and of fear, and of the heavy bondage to which thou wast enslaved,

You will utter a triumphant song against the king of Babylon and say: how the tormentor has ceased, the robbery has ceased!
The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of lords,
th Struck the peoples in fury blows inevitable, in anger dominated over the tribes with uncontrollable persecution.
th The whole earth rests, rests, exclaims with joy;
And the cypresses rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon, [saying]: 'Since you fell asleep, no one comes to cut us.'
Hell of hell is set in motion for your sake, to meet you at your entrance; He awakened to you the Rephaim, all the leaders of the earth; He lifted up all the kings of the Gentiles from their thrones.
All of them will tell you: and you became powerless like us! And you have become like us!
eleven Thy pride is cast into the depths with all thy noise; Underneath is a worm, and worms your covering.
How did you fall from heaven, dawn, son of the dawn! He crashed to the ground, which trampled the people.
And he said in his heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will lift up my throne above the stars of God and sit on the mountain in a host of gods, on the edge of the north;
I will ascend to the heights of the clouds, I will be like unto the most High. "
But you are cast into hell, into the depths of the underworld.
Those who see you peer at you, reflect on you: "Is this the man who shook the earth, shook the kingdoms,
th The universe made a wilderness and destroyed its cities, did not let his captives go home? '
All the kings of the nations, all lie with honor, each in his own tomb;
And you are cast out of your grave like a despicable branch, like the garments of slain, slain by the sword, which are lowered into stone ditches, - like a trampled corpse,
You will not connect with them in the grave; Because you have ruined your land, killed your people: the tribe of evildoers will not be remembered for ever.
Prepare slaughter for his sons for the iniquity of their father, lest they rise up and take possession of the land, and fill the universe with enemies.
And I will rise against them, says the LORD of hosts, and I will destroy the name of Babylon, and all the remnant, and the son and the grandson, says the Lord.
And I will make him a possession of hedgehogs and a swamp, and I will sweep him with a broomstick destroying, says the Lord of hosts.

With an oath Jehovah of hosts says: As I have thought, so it shall be; As I have determined, so it will take place,
To crush the Assyrian in my land and trample it on my mountains; And his yoke shall fall from them, and his burden shall be lifted from their shoulder.
th This is the definition that was ordained for the whole earth, and, behold, the hand stretched out upon all nations,
th For the Lord of hosts has determined, and who can reverse it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn her away?
In the year of King Ahaz's death there was such a prophetic word:
Rejoice, O land of the Philistines, that a rod is broken that smote thee: for out of the root of the serpent there shall be an aspid, and its fruit shall be a flying dragon.
thirty Then the poorest will be fed, and the poor will be safe; And your root will starve, and he will kill the rest of you.
Sob, the gate! Howling voice, the city! You will be scattered, all the land of the Philistines, for from the north smoke goes, and there is no backward in their hordes.
What will the messengers of the people say? "That the Lord established Zion, and in him shall the poor of his people find refuge."
