Job 33

So listen, Job, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
Here, I open my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall utter knowledge.
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
If you can answer me, and stand in front of me.
Here I am according to thy wish in God's stead. I also am formed out of the clay;
therefore, my terror shall not make thee, and my hand will not be hard for you.

You said in my ears, and I heard the sound of words:
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent, and there is no iniquity in me;
and he found the charges against me and considers me his enemy;
eleven put my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
Here in this thou art not answer thee, that God is greater than man.
Why do you contend with Him? He does not give account of any of his works.

For God speaks once, if it does not notice the second time:
in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, during a nap on the couch.
Then he opens the ears of men and seals their instruction,
to divert a person from any and hide pride from man,
to bring back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and cruel pain in all their bones -
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty food.
The flesh is consumed away, that it can not be seen; and his bones that were not seen.
And his soul close to the grave, and his life - to death.
If there is a messenger with him, a mediator, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right [path] it -
[God] is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from the grave; I have found a ransom.
Then his body will become fresher than in youth; he will return to the days of his youth.
I will pray to God, and He - have mercy on him; happily looks at his face, and returns to man his righteousness.
He will look at people and say: I have sinned, and perverted the truth, and it profited me not;
He will deliver his soul from the pit, and my life shall see the light.

Here, it's all God does two or three times with a man,
thirty to bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
Give ear, Job, listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.
If you have anything to say, answer me; Speak, for I desire to justify thee
if not, then listen to me: Hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
