Joel 2

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; the dread of all the inhabitants of the land: for the day of the Lord, for he blizok--
a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick as the morning spread upon the mountains the people numerous and strong, such as was not from the beginning, and after there will be many generations.
Fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; before him the earth as a garden of Eden, but behind them a desolate wilderness, and no one will rescue him.
View it as the appearance of horses, and they are galloping horsemen;
jumping on the tops of the mountains, as it were the noise of chariots, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
At the sight of its peoples are in anguish: all faces shall gather blackness.
As fighters, they run and how brave warriors climb the wall, and each goes his way, and they shall not break their ways.
Do not crush each other, every one in his path, and fall on the spear, but remain unharmed.
Running around the city, climb the walls, climb on the house, included in the windows like a thief.
Before them the earth is moved, shaken sky; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
eleven And the LORD shall utter his voice before His army, for His camp is very great and strong that executeth his word; For the great day of the Lord and very terrible, and who can endure it?

Yet even now, saith the LORD: Turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
And rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God; for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great distress and regrets.
Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind a meat offering and a drink offering to the Lord your God?
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly.
Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and infants; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her closet.
Between the porch and the altar weep let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, and say: `Have pity, O Lord, thy people, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them; Why should they say among the nations: Where is their God? '

And then the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
And the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach peoples.
And coming from the north away from you, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward - the east sea, and the rear - in the sea, and his stink shall come, and the stench rises from him, because he has done [evil].
Do not be afraid, O earth: Rejoice and be glad, for the Lord has done great this.
Do not be afraid, the animals, for the pastures of the desert do spring grass, tree bring forth its fruit, the fig tree and the vine yield their strength.
And you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the early and latter rain as before.
And filled with bread threshing floor, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, my great army which I sent among you.
And ye shall eat and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you, and not be ashamed of my people forever.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and I - the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh shall prophesy, your sons and your daughters; your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
thirty And I will show wonders in the heavens and on earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon - in the blood, before the day of the Lord, the great and terrible.
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
