And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying: |
2
Lead the children of Israel to send out of the camp all the lepers, and all that have expiration, and all those who are defiled from the dead, |
3
And send men and women, send them out of the camp, so that they do not desecrate their camps, among which I live. |
4
And the children of Israel did so, and sent them out of the camp; As the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel. |
5
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying: |
6th
Tell the sons of Israel, If a man or woman does any sin against a man, and through this he will commit a crime against the Lord, and the soul will be guilty, |
7th
Then let them confess their sin which they have committed, and return in full what they are guilty of, and add a fifth to this and give it to the one against whom they have sinned; |
8
If he does not have an heir, who should be returned for guilt: then devote it to the Lord; Let it be to the priest, in addition to the ram of cleansing, by which he will purify him; |
9
And every heave offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring to the priest, belongs to him, |
10
And dedicated to him belongs to him; Everything that someone will give to the priest, belongs to him.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying: |
12
Declare unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If a wife shall betray him, and break faith in him, |
13
And he who sleeps with her and pours out the seed, and this will be hidden from the eyes of her husband, and she will be defiled in secret, and there will be no witness against her, and will not be convicted, |
14
And will find a spirit of jealousy on him, and will be jealous of his wife when she is defiled, or find a spirit of jealousy on him, and he will be jealous of his wife when she is not defiled - |
15
Let her husband bring his wife to the priest and sacrifice a tenth of an ephah of barley flour for her, but she does not pour oil on her and put the Lebanon on, because it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of remembrance reminiscent of lawlessness; |
16
But the priest shall bring him and set her before the face of the Lord, |
17th
And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel, and the priest of the earth shall take it from the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water; |
18
And the priest shall set a wife before the Lord, and shall uncover the head of the woman, and give her an offering of remembrance, -this is an offering of jealousy, in the priest's hand there will be bitter water leading a curse. |
19
And the priest shall curse her and say to the wife: if no one has slept with you, and you have not defiled and betrayed your husband, then you will be unharmed by this bitter water that leads the curse; |
20
But if thou hast cheated on thy husband, and is defiled, and if any man slew with thee save thine husband, |
21
Then the priest shall curse his wife with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, "The LORD deliver you to the curse and the oath of your people; and let the LORD make your bones fallen and your swollen belly swollen; |
22
And let this water go forth, which leads a curse, into thy bowels, that thy belly may swell, and her womb be opal. And the wife shall say: Amen, Amen. |
23
And the priest shall write these incantations in a scroll, and wash them in bitter water; |
24
And will give his wife to drink the bitter water that leads the curse, and water enters into it, leading the curse, to harm her. |
25
And the priest shall take from the hand of the woman the meat offering of jealousy, and he shall take this offering before the Lord, and carry him to the altar; |
26th
And the priest shall take a handful of the grain offering, in remembrance, and burn it on the altar, and then give the wife a drink of water; |
27th
And when she gives her water, then if she is unclean and has committed a crime against her husband, the bitter water that leads the curse will enter her, to harm her, and her belly will swell and her bosom fall, and this woman will be cursed in her people; |
28
If the woman is not defiled and clean, she will remain unharmed and will be fertilized with the seed. |
29
This is the law of jealousy, when a wife will betray her husband and become defiled, |
thirty
Or when a man finds a spirit of jealousy, and he is jealous of his wife, then let him set his wife before the Lord, and the priest will do to her according to this law, |
31
And the husband shall be clean from sin, and the woman shall bear her sin against her. |
