Proverbs 15

A mild answer repels anger, and an offensive word stirs up rage.

The tongue of the wise communicates good knowledge, and the mouth of fools spews out stupidity.

In every place the eyes of the Lord are: they see evil and good.

The mild tongue is the tree of life, but unbridled is the affliction of the spirit.

The fool neglects the instruction of his father; But he who listens to reproof is prudent.

th In the house of the righteous there is an abundance of treasures, and in the profit of the wicked is upset.

th The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the heart of the foolish is not so.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, and the prayer of the righteous is acceptable to Him.

Abomination in the sight of the Lord is the way of the wicked, but he who loves walking in the way of righteousness.

The evil punishment is to the deviator, and the one who hates reproof will perish.

eleven Sheol and Abaddon [are open] before the Lord, especially the hearts of the sons of men.

He does not love the licentious who reprove him, and he will not go to the wise.

A cheerful heart makes a cheerful face, but with heart sorrow the spirit is discouraged.

The heart of the intelligent searches for knowledge, but the lips of fools feed on stupidity.

All the days of the unfortunate are sad; But he who has a heart is cheerful, he always has a feast.

Better is not much with the fear of the Lord, than a great treasure, and with it is anxiety.
th Better is a dish of greenery, and with it love, rather than a fattened bull, and with it hatred.

A quick-tempered person stirs up strife, but the patient will calm the dispute.

The path of the lazy is like a thorns fence, and the path of the righteous is smooth.

A wise son makes his father happy, but a stupid man disdains his mother.

Stupidity is a joy for the half-witted, but a reasonable person goes straight forward.

Without a council, the enterprises will be upset, and with a multitude of advisers they will take place.

Joy to the man in the answer of his mouth, and how well the word is on time!

The path of a wise life upwards to evade the underworld below.

The house of the arrogant will be destroyed by the Lord, and the widow will strengthen between the widows.

th The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, and the words of the unblemished ones are pleasing to Him.

th The greedy man will upset his house, but he who hates presents will live.

The heart of the righteous ponders the answer, and the mouth of the wicked spews evil.

The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

thirty A bright look pleases the heart, good news makes bones.

The ear, attentive to the teaching of life, dwells among the wise.

The rejecting admonition does not worry about one's soul; But he who hears reproof, he acquires reason.

The fear of the Lord teaches wisdom, and glory is preceded by humility.
