| (141-1) ^^ Teachings of David. . Prayer when he was in the cave ^^ my voice to the Lord I cried, my voice to the Lord and prayed; |
| (141-2) I pour out my supplication before him; He opened my sorrow. |
| (141-3) When overwhelmed within me my spirit, You knew my path. On the way wherein I walked, they have hidden a snare for me. |
| (141-4) I looked on my right hand, and see that no one recognizes me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. |
| (141-5) I cried unto thee, O Lord; I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. |
| (141-6) Hear my cry, for I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me. |
| (141-7) Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name. Around me the righteous shall You will give me a blessing. |
