Psalm 17

(16-1) ^^ David's prayer. ^^ Hear, O Lord, the truth, hearken unto my cry, receive supplication from the lips of the undefiled.
(16-2) From thy face, let judgment come unto me; Let your eyes see your righteousness.
(16-3) You have tested my heart, visited me at night, tempted me and found nothing; My mouth does not depart from my thoughts.
(16-4) In the works of men, according to the word of your mouth, I have guarded myself from the ways of the oppressor.
(16-5) Establish my steps in your ways, let my steps not stagger.
th (16-6) I cry to You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline thine ear unto me, hear my words.
th (16-7) Thy marvelous mercy, O Savior of those who trust in thee, against those that are against thy right hand.

Keep me as the apple of my eye; In the shadow of your wings, hide me
(16-9) from the face of the wicked who attack me, from the enemies of my soul that surround me:
(16-10) they encamped in their fatness, arrogantly speaking with their mouths.
eleven (16-11) At every step of our time, they surround us; They have fixed their eyes to put me on the earth;
(16-12) They are like a lion, thirsting for prey, like a skimmer sitting in secret places.
(16-13) Arise, O Lord, warn them, cast them down. Deliver my soul from the wicked with thy sword,
(16-14) Of men, by Thy hand, O Lord, from the people of the world, which are the inheritance in this life, which Thy womens fill from Thy treasuries; Their sons are full and will leave the rest to their children.
(16-15) But I, in righteousness, will look on your face; I will be filled with Your image.
