Psalm 4

| ^^ To the head of the choir. On string [implements]. A Psalm of David. ^^ (4-2) When I cry, hear me, O God of my truth! In the cramped You gave me room. Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. |
| (4-3) The sons of men! How long will my glory be in reproach? How long will you love vanity and seek falsehood? |
| (4-4) Know that the Lord has divided his holy for Himself; The Lord hears when I call upon Him. |
| (4-5) If you are angry, do not sin: Think about it in your hearts on your bed, and be still; |
| (4-6) Offer sacrifices of righteousness and trust in the Lord. |
th | (4-7) Many say: "Who will show us good?" Show us the light of your face, O Lord! |
th | (4-8) You have filled my heart with joy from the time that their bread and wine multiplied. |
| (4-9) I calmly lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone allow me to live in safety. |
