(39-1) ^^ To the head of the choir. Psalm of David. ^ 39-2 I firmly trusted in the Lord, and He inclined to me and heard my cry;
(39-3) He took me out of a terrible ditch, from a muddy marsh, and set my feet on a rock and established my feet;
(39-4) And he put in my mouth a new song, praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and they will trust in the Lord.
(39-5) Blessed is the man who puts his trust in the Lord and does not turn to the proud and to those who dodge to lie.
(39-6) Many, Thou, O Lord, have done much; my wonders and Thy thoughts are upon us, who shall be like thee! - I would like to preach and speak, but they exceed the number.

th (39-7) You did not want sacrifices and offerings; You have opened my ears; You did not demand burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.
th (39-8) Then I said, "Behold, I am coming." In the book scroll written about me:
(39-9) I will do thy will, O my God, and thy law is in my heart.
I have spoken of thy righteousness in a great congregation; I have not rebuked my mouth: You, Lord, you know.
(39-11) I did not hide your righteousness in my heart, I declared your faithfulness and your salvation, I did not hide your mercy and your truth before the great assembly.

eleven Restrain not, O LORD, thy tender mercies from me; Thy mercy and thy truth, keep me ceaselessly,
(39-13) For trouble beset me with innumerable things. My iniquities have comprehended me, so that I can not see: there are more of them than the hair on my head; My heart left me.
O LORD, bless me, O LORD. Lord! Hurry to help me.
(39-15) Let everyone be ashamed and ashamed, those who seek destruction for my soul! Let the evils that come to me be turned back and betrayed by a sneer!
(39-16) Let them be dismayed from their own reproach: they say to me, `It is good! OK!'
(39-17) Let all who seek You enjoy and rejoice in You, and those who love Your salvation, let them say unceasingly: "Great is the Lord!"
th (39-18) I am poor and poor, but the Lord cares for me. You are my help and my deliverer, my God! Do not slow down.
