Psalm 5

| ^^ To the head of the choir. On the wind instruments. A Psalm of David. ^^ (5-2) Hear, O LORD, my words, understand my meditation. |
| (5-3) Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God! For I pray to Thee. |
| (5-4) O Lord! You hear my voice early, and I will stand before you, and I will wait, |
| (5-5) For thou art a God that do not love iniquity; Thy wickedness abideth in thee; |
| (5-6) The wicked will not abide in Your sight: You hate everyone who does iniquity. |
th | (5-7) You will destroy those who speak lies; Bloodthirsty and crafty God is abhorrent. |
th | (5-8) But I, in the multitude of your mercy, will come into your house, I will bow to your holy temple in your fear. |
| (5-9) O Lord! Guide me in your righteousness, for my enemies' sake; Stand before me thy way. |
| (5-10) For there is no truth in their mouths: their heart is destruction, their throat is an open sepulcher, their tongue is flattered. |
| (5-11) Judge them, O God, that they fall from their schemes; According to the multitude of their wickedness, reject them, for they rebelled against thee. |
eleven | (5-12) And all who hope in you will rejoice, they will eternally rejoice, and You will patronize them; And they that love thy name shall glory in you. |
| (5-13) For you bless the righteous, O Lord; Goodwill, like a shield, you crown him. |
