| (63-1) ^^ To the chief Musician. . A Psalm of David ^^ (63-2) Hear, O God, my voice in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy; |
| (63-3) Hide me from the devices of the crafty, from the strivings of villains, |
| (63-4), who whet their tongue like a sword; strained their bow - even bitter words, |
| (63-5) to shoot in secret at the blameless; suddenly do they shoot at him and do not fear. |
| (63-6) They encourage themselves in an evil intention, counsel to hide the network, said: Who shall see them? |
| (63-7) to seek the truth, the investigation of the investigation, even to the inner life of man and to the heart. |
| (63-8) But God will strike them with an arrow suddenly shall they be hurt by; |
| (63-9) with their tongues they hit themselves; all that see them shall flee away [from them]. |
| (63-10) And they shall be afraid all the men, and shall declare the work of God, and shall know that this is His work. |
| (63-11) The righteous shall rejoice in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart. |
