Titus 1

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, by faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth, [pertaining] to piety,
In hope of eternal life, which is promised in the unchanging word of God before the world began,
and in due time manifested His word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour, -
Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you have completed the unfinished and set elders in every city, as I directed you:

If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not is angry, no drunkard, not biytsa, not covetous,
but hospitable, a lover of good, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Holding fast the faithful word as taught, so that he was able also to exhort in sound doctrine and refute those who contradict.
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision,
eleven mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
And some of them own one poet said: 'Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons. "
This testimony is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,
not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
To the pure all things are pure; and to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but polluted their minds and consciences.
They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work.
