Google Timelapse will show how the planet has changed over the past 32 years
Google has updated Google Earth's built-in Timelapse feature. Now every user can see how any part of the planet has changed over the past thirty years.
Google Timelapse allows you to view photos of the Earth from 1984 to 2016 (32 years). It is enough to follow the link , select any point on the map and see how the planet has changed, cities have increased, the landscape has changed, glaciers have melted, and more. The map is scaled, and just below the window, the developers identified 8 regions where important environmental changes are taking place. When updating the mode, 5 million high-quality photographs from the Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 satellites were used.
