From the introduction to the book "Implementation of electrical circuits by ESKD":
The main type of design documents in various fields of electrical engineering, radio electronics and communications are schemes. Information on the implementation and design of the schemes are placed in various state standards, which creates difficulties in the work and increases the unproductive time spent in drawing up the schemes.
The systemic presentation of the requirements of the EDCCD to the schematic documentation, except for the labor saving and the time of the developers, will also contribute to the improvement of the automated design documentation receiving system, which is associated with a clear understanding of the characteristics of each type of document and formalization of the current ESKD requirements (in particular, the automated circuit acquisition process includes such Stages, such as the definition of the format of the scheme, the arrangement of the conditional graphic symbols (UGOs) in the scheme according to the sheets of the document, the placement of the UGO on the sheet of the document, etc.).
The guide lists general rules for the design of design documentation for ESKD, systematizes the main provisions of state standards for the image and design of electrical circuits, digital computer circuits, examines the rules for the execution of drawings of products manufactured using electrical installation. The appendices give rules for writing the designations for units of physical quantities, a list of the standards of the seventh classification group of ESKD, conditional functional designations applied to radio electronic equipment.
