Kaminsky EA How to make a project of a small electrical installation

Kaminsky EA How to make a small electrical installation project. - 3rd ed., Pererab. And additional-M .: Energia, 1980.- 120 s, ill .- (B-ka electrician, Issue 500).

The book gives general information about the design. Illustrated by examples of techniques for the design work of small electrical installations: drawing up and analysis of schemes, the choice of materials and equipment, its layout, the cost of work. The second edition was published in 1965. The third edition took into account the comments and wishes of the readers, and clarifications were made in accordance with the GOST, Rules, Norms, catalogs, price lists and price lists in effect on January 1, 1980. The book is intended for a wide range of electricians, masters and electrical engineers who serve electrical installations. It can be useful to students of vocational schools and technical schools.

Preface to the book "How to make a small electrical installation project"

During the operation of electrical installations of industrial, transport, municipal and agricultural enterprises, small assembly and adjustment works are required without the involvement of specialized organizations. These include work aimed at improving working conditions (installing air conditioners, fans, replacing luminaires, etc.), saving electricity, increasing labor productivity, improving product quality, improving the safety of servicing mechanisms, and so on.

There are many examples. But the common thing in all these works is that they are carried out in the working order, without involving project organizations, using available or easily purchased equipment, wires and materials. But, before doing the job, you need:

1) to assess its feasibility and to clarify whether the improvement of one node will worsen the performance of other nodes and whether the innovation will lead to a violation of the adopted system of operation;

2) clearly formulate the conditions / actions and draw up a schematic diagram;

3) choose equipment, instruments, wires and cables;

4) find the places for equipment installation, cable laying and provide for the necessary structures, fastenings, etc.;

5) think over how to connect the new device to the current one, protect it from short-circuit currents (AC) and overloads, provide electrical safety;

6) compile an estimate or at least approximately determine the cost of the work.

All of the above is the content of the project - very small in scope, but the most important document. The purpose of this book is to show how such projects are carried out and what needs to be done so that you do not miss anything significant and do not do unnecessary work.
