Terminology related to the operation of gas systems!
The knowledge of these terms, of course, will be useful to you in the implementation of methods, and indeed in life, if you are connected with the operation of devices using natural or liquefied gas.
Gas meter, gas meter, gas meter. Technical device, the main function, which is to account for the consumption of natural gas.
The gas system. Somewhat simplifying, it can be said that this is a gas pipeline to which special technical devices are connected that regulate the supply of natural gas, record the consumption of natural gas and distribute natural gas.
The gas pipeline. Part of the gas system. The gas pipeline is designed to transfer natural gas from the natural gas supplier to the consumer.
Counting mechanism. A technical device that works in conjunction with the gas meter accounting mechanism. Its role is to calculate the data for the gas traveled and convert these data into eye-friendly mathematical meaning (using the dial). From him, directly take the testimony for payment for the consumed substance.
Membrane gas meter. One of the varieties of the most common gas meters. More details will be described in the relevant sections.
Rotary gas meter. One of the varieties of the most common gas meters. More details will be described in the relevant sections.
Consumption gas appliances. Instruments and devices in which natural gas is used for work. Basically they are heating (heating) devices.
The gas reducer. The device that regulates the output of natural gas from a cylinder with a liquefied gas.
Natural gas. The conditional name of the combustible gas, which is supplied by means of a gas pipeline.
Jamming (counter). A certain technical intervention that causes some parts of the mechanisms to be inoperative.
Depressurization. A technical intervention that causes some parts of the gas system to pass a specially created environment (injected natural gas) into the environment.
Detail. It is not a folding thing used in technology, which can perform only one function in the technical mechanisms.
Mechanism. A certain set of parts that collectively perform a specific function.
Device. A certain set of technical mechanisms in the aggregate that perform a certain specified function.
The socket. In the gas pipeline, a special device, through which natural gas can be diverted from the gas pipeline (see the figure below).
Clamp. The device that is worn on a certain section of the pipeline. The function of the clamp is to seal the holes in the gas pipe (see the figure below).
Private sector (in the terminology of gas consumption). Private property, which consumes natural gas. In this case, natural gas should not be used for commercial purposes (for example, for the production of certain products for sale). If it is used to produce certain products for sale, then such a sector is called production. Special rules for the consumption of natural gas are applied to the production sector.
Special clamp (OUR collar). In addition, that the clamp closes the holes in the gas pipeline, it is still from the hole, the natural gas is sent in a certain direction (see the figure below). Such clamps are sold in hardware stores and markets.
The left gas pipeline. A gas pipeline designed to use unaccounted gas.
Place of connection. A certain section of the gas system to which certain technical equipment is attached, or another gas system.
Master gas operator. A professional (specialist) who specifically studied the rules for the use and repair of gas equipment.
Strip inspection services. Organizations that are called upon to monitor the consumption and consumption of natural gas.
Stop the gas meter. The impact on the meter, as a result of which, natural gas passes through the gas meter.
Tightening of the gas meter. The impact on the meter, as a result of which, natural gas passes through the gas meter partially taken into account.
Winding the gas meter. The impact on the meter, as a result of which, the gas meter readings are changed regardless of the passage of gas through it (usually in the direction of decreasing).
Seal. A protective device (more often from lead or in the form of a sticker) in the presence of which it is practically impossible to open a certain part of the mechanism without destroying the seals.
Cream. The device by which the sealing is made.
Seal for seals. A detail that, when exposed to a seal, becomes a seal.
Device for installing a protective mechanism. It is installed more often on a seal. In modern seals with identification number is installed directly on the workpiece for the seal. When it is used, the seal for the filling becomes a full seal.
An identification number. A certain number of digits and letters, which is assigned to a certain seal. Theoretically, there should not be a repetition of the identification number.
Peripheral device. A device that is outside the general technical device.
Shaft. The part through which the rotational motion is transmitted.
Gear. A part with which you can transfer rotational motion from one part (for example, gears) to another part.
Special mechanical damage. Damages that were made in a certain mechanism intentionally.
Natural mechanical damage. Damage to the device caused by poor-quality parts installed in it or over time.
The branch pipe. A piece of pipe, which is attached to one end of the system at one end (for example, the nozzles are welded to the body of the gas meter), looks like a choke.
Eight-shaped shaft. One of the parts that are installed in the rotary counters.
Sealing ring. It is made of a special soft material (for example, rubber). It is designed to compact the gaps that inevitably arise at the junctions of two technical systems, for example a meter and a gas pipeline.
Minimal consumption of natural gas. One of the periods is the consumption of natural gas by the consumer, when it was consumed in the smallest amounts relative to other periods of natural gas consumption.
Exit the gas pipeline. A device to which a particular gas consumer can be connected.
Cylinder with liquefied gas. A special container into which a certain type of natural gas is pumped under high pressure.
Locking device on gas meters. The device inside the gas meter, which is designed to block it when trying to make the gas meter work in the opposite direction.
Compressor and vacuum cleaner. Technical devices that can create a lot of pressure.
Coupling. A special technical device that, using threaded connections, connects devices or systems to each other.
