The terminology associated with the operation of gas engines!
The terminology associated with the operation of gas engines!
Knowledge of these terms, no doubt, will make a big way in the implementation of, and generally in life, once you are connected to the operation of devices using natural or liquefied gas.
Technical terms.
Gas meter, gas meter, the unit natural gas accounting. Technical device, the main function, which is accounting for the consumption of natural gas.
The gas system. Several simplifying we can say that this pipeline is connected to a special technical devices that regulate the flow of natural gas, keep records for consumption of natural gas and distributes natural gas.
The gas pipeline. Part of the gas system. The gas pipeline is designed to transmit natural gas from natural gas supplier to the consumer.
Counting mechanism. Technical device, which works in conjunction with the mechanism accounting of the gas meter. Its role is to calculate the data for the passed gas and transform that data into clear mathematical meaning to the eye (using the dial). With his direct testimony removed to pay for the consumption of substances.
Diaphragm gas meter. One of the most common types of gas meters. Details will be described in subsequent sections.
Rotary gas meter. One of the most common types of gas meters. Details will be described in subsequent sections.
Gas Appliances consumption. Instruments and devices that are used for natural gas. In general, they are heating (heating) devices.
Gas pressure regulator. The device that regulates the output of natural gas from a cylinder of liquefied gas.
Natural gas. Provisional title of combustible gas, which is supplied by pipeline.
Wedging (counter). Certain technical intervention, which leads to some of the mechanisms of failure.
Depressurization. Technical procedure, which results in some parts of the gas system to pass a specially created environment inside (uploaded natural gas) into the environment.
The part. Not removable thing used in the technique, which can perform in the technical arrangements only a given function.
The mechanism. A defined set of components that together perform a specified function.
The device. Specific set of technical mechanisms together that perform a given function.
Choke. In the Pipeline special device limit by which you can take with pipeline natural gas or wind (see below).
Clamp. The device is worn on a certain section of the pipe. Clamp function is to repair the holes in the pipeline (see below).
The private sector (in terms of gas consumption). Private property, in which the consumption of natural gas. This natural gas limit shall not be used for commercial purposes (for example, for the manufacture of certain products for sale). If it is used for the manufacture of certain products for sale, such a sector is called manufacturing. For the industrial sector special rules apply in natural gas consumption.
Special clamp (clamp NASH). In addition to clamp stop a hole in the pipeline, it is still in the hole, natural gas is in a certain direction (see figure below). These collars are sold in hardware stores and markets.
Left pipeline. The pipeline is designed for use unaccounted for gas.
The connection. A defined area of the gas system, joined by some technical equipment, or other gas system.
Master gasman. Professional (specialist), who specifically studied the use and maintenance of gas equipment.
Gas inspection service. Organizations that are designed to monitor the flow and consumption of natural gas.
Stop the gas meter. Impact on the counter, in which natural gas is left out through a gas meter.
Braking of the gas meter. Impact on the counter, in which natural gas passes through a gas meter is partially discounted.
Unwinding of the gas meter. Impact on the counter, as a result of which the gas meter readings vary independently of the gas passing through it (usually downward).
Filling. The protective device (usually made of lead or in the form of stickers) in the presence of which is to open a part of the mechanism is almost impossible without damaging the seals.
Ice cream. The device by which, is filling.
Preparation for seals. The part which is acted upon by ice cream, turns into a seal.
Device for a protective mechanism. Fits most often on the sundae. In today's fillings with the identification number is set directly on the workpiece for the seal. With its use of blank for filling into a complete seal.
Identification number. A certain number of letters and numbers that is assigned to a particular seal. Theoretically, repeated identification number should not be.
Peripheral device. The device, which is derived out of common technical devices.
The shaft. The part which is transmitted through the rotary motion.
Pinion. The part which can be used to transmit rotary motion from one part (eg, gears) to another part.
Special mechanical damage. Damage that has been made in a particular mechanism design.
Natural mechanical damage. Damage to the unit caused by defined therein substandard parts, or over time.
Port. A piece of pipe that is attached to one end of a certain part of the system (eg, pipes are welded to the hull of the gas meter), similar to the socket.
Eight shaped shaft. One of the parts, which are set in rotation counters.
O-ring. Made it from a special soft material (eg rubber). It is intended to seal the gaps that inevitably occur in the joints of two technical systems, such as the meter and the gas pipeline.
The minimum consumption of natural gas. One of the periods of consumption of natural gas consumer, when it was consumed in very small amounts relative to other periods of natural gas consumption.
Output pipeline. The device to which you can connect one or the other gas consumers.
Liquefied gas cylinder. A special container, which is injected under high pressure a certain type of natural gas.
Locking device for gas meters. The device inside the gas meter, which is intended to lock him in an attempt to get a gas meter run in the opposite direction.
Compressor and vacuum cleaner. Technical devices that can create a lot of pressure.
Clutch. Special technical device which, by means of threaded joints interconnected devices or systems.
