Tamwood Summer Camps are children's camps on the east and west coast of Canada. Two centers on the west coast: the first center is located on the top of Mount Barnaby, on the territory of Simon Fraser University, just 25 minutes from Vancouver; The second center is located in the famous mountain resort of Whistler, famous for its unusually beautiful nature. In the east of the country there is another camp - in one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Canada - London, called the Forest City, near Toronto and the Great Lakes. All camps offer excellent conditions for recreation, entertainment and sports.

Summer programs for children aged 7-17 are organized in several places:

1. The summer program "English and activities" in Vancouver is held on the basis of the prestigious Simon Fraser University; Children learn English in university classrooms and classes, use books from the university library and all sports facilities on the campus. In the morning classes are held, and after lessons the children take part in high-quality events and excursions with pleasure. The program includes at least 2 excursions per week - one for a full day and one or more for half a day. The children are divided by age: 7-12 and 13-17 years - for each group has its own entertainment and training program. Children live and eat either in families, single rooms, or on campus of the university in single or double rooms with shared facilities.

2. Wislter offers summer programs for schoolchildren from Canada, the US and foreign students. Thus, guys from different countries can make friends not only with Canadian peers, but also with American ones, and also understand the difference of accents.
"English and activities" , 7-17 years. In the morning the children learn English, and after dinner they improve their speech, doing all kinds of activities: participating in sports, visiting sights, studying in circles. The schedule of the day is built in such a way that children are constantly exercising in using the language and lessons learned in the lessons. Every week there is a language level test, which allows you to monitor the progress of each student, guarantees the improvement of knowledge. Classes are held in groups of 15 people maximum under the guidance of professional teachers - university graduates.
"Adventure camp" , 13-17 years. Program for the most active, purposeful children, loving nature, sports and thrills. During the exciting climbing, mountain biking, orienteering (in the mountains), camping, kayaking, the children acquire not only sports skills and physical development, but also learn such important social skills as leadership, teamwork, first Medical care, which they are trained during a 3-day camp in the mountains. On weekends, children have the opportunity to go skiing or snowboarding on the Blackcomb Mountain glacier, and also take kayak riding lessons.
3. London, Ontario. London is a 40-minute drive from Toronto Airport. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Canada. The summer camp is located on the territory of the University of Huron. In the summer there are 3 programs: English and activities (7-17 years), Intensive English (13-17 years) and English and equestrian (13-17 years). Accommodation is possible in the residence and in the family in single rooms with common facilities.
Winter camp for teenagers is 12 to 18 years old.
The camp in Vancouver offers a program specially designed for young people who are interested in learning English, as well as excursions and activities in Canada. The Tamwood winter camp features the same level of high-quality training and organization as other Tamwood programs . All teachers of English have university training and have extensive experience working with young people. Activities are conducted by qualified and attentive staff. In the morning, students learn English, in the daytime and in the evening - participate in various sports and recreational activities, as well as sightseeing.

    Included in cost:

    • 15 hours a week of English;
