Hospitality Operations- internship program in Canada - Hospitality

  The standard program includes:

  - Module intensive General English
  - Course Customer Service Protocol;
  - Select additional courses: Power Speaking, Presentation Skills, Intensive Writing, etc .;
  - Workshop skills for employment: preparation of summaries,
  resources for job search, interview preparation, etc .;
  - Support in the design of Co-op Work Permit and Social card
  Insurance Number.

  Options and duration of the program:
  

  20 weeks: 20 weeks of intensive English and EWP and practice + 10 Ned internship.

  * The practice consists of working and training (see. Below), under the program, and / or any of the courses selected by the student in addition to basic training.

  Start dates: every 2 weeks
  Experience required: important for employment, but not required
  Student work: service sector, shops, hotels, resorts
  Payment during operation: $ 10 CAD per hour or higher
  Spoken English for practice: level 7 SEC (requires phone interview and a written test to determine the number of weeks of compulsory training prior to work experience.)

  Accommodation options:
  Accommodation in a family, hostel or hotel.

  Homestay:
  Selection in the family residence, and 24/7 support coordinator for accommodation: $ 200
  Room and 3 meals: $ 210 per week.
  The room and 2 meals: $ 190 per week.

• Requirements for participants

  • Age from 19 to 30 years
  • It is desirable (but not necessarily) be a student or graduate student
  • To work in the hotel business (not necessarily) or have previous experience of such work, such as Work and Travel USA program (optional)
  • Proficient in English at a conversational level

• Required documents

  Necessary documents for participation in the program:

  • A completed application form for participation in the program;
