Learn Italian in Rome

Rome, the Eternal City, the heart of one of the oldest civilizations, the birthplace of so many great people and cultures of our time. Hundreds of writers, poets and artists of all ages and countries of the world celebrated its beauty, color, art and atmosphere, plunging into history.
But Rome is not only a unique city filled with monuments, palaces and museums; It is also a modern metropolis full of life, offering entertainment and pleasure for every taste.

Dilit (Divulgazione Lingua Italiana), created in 1974, is today one of the most prestigious Italian language schools in the country for learning Italian.
The school is located in the center of Rome, a short walk from the main railway station (Termini station) and is conveniently located in terms of the possibility to get from anywhere in the city. In the school, a five-story building in the Art Nouveau style, there are 10 rooms for studying Italian. In addition, there are 15 other classes in the other two annexes a few steps from the main building.

  • Description of programs

    The school offers a large selection of Italian language courses for those who want to learn Italian.
    Intensive   (15-20-25-30 hours / week)
    Classes are held from Monday to Friday.
    The new course begins every four weeks throughout the year.
    The minimum period of study is 2 weeks.
    Non-intensive (6 hours / week)
    Classes are held twice a week, in the morning and in the afternoon, and last for 3 hours.
    Each course lasts 12 weeks.
    Such courses are not held in July, August and September.
    The minimum period of study is 12 weeks.
    Combined courses on learning Italian.
    Students attend a group course in the mornings (4 hours / day) and an individual course of the afternoon (2 hours / day).
    These courses are especially suitable for those who need knowledge of the Italian language, both in general terms and for individual needs (related to specific topics in specific areas and / or specific aspects of the language).

    School Annual Program
    This program, which includes 32 weeks (of a 35-week stay) was designed to meet the growing need for a one-to-one course in the study of Italian combined with other disciplines, such as the History of Art, Architecture and Design, in which Italy is famous all over the world (Age from 16 to 28)
    Internship program
    This program combines the study of the Italian language with unpaid work practices in an Italian company. The program provides students the opportunity to use and improve their language skills and at the same time directly come into contact with the working environment, which in many aspects is special in Italy.
    Requirements: Diploma of higher education, from 18 years.
    University Preparation Program
    This program is intended for foreign students who intend to enter the Italian University to attend a degree course in the specialty: ARCHITECTURE, MEDICINE, VETERINARY BUSINESS, DENTISTRY, PHARMACEUTICS or ENGINEERING. It consists of two parts: a language course followed by an academic course.

    The unique program offers young people from all over the world the opportunity to learn the language and culture of Italy, immersed in the surrounding nature, just a stone throw from the sea, in the heart of the rural area of ​​Rome and a few kilometers from the city.

    Historically Castelfusano was the old hunting estate of the Chigi family, located only 25 km from the center of Rome and 1.3 km from the Roman coast.
