The celluloid adhesive is a solution of celluloid in acetone. To prepare such an adhesive at home, it is necessary to dissolve pieces of celluloid ( 2-3 g ) in acetone ( 100 ml ). The glue is applied to degreased surfaces with a brush or a wooden spatula, allow it to dry 2-3 minutes , after which the parts are tightly joined and dried at room temperature for about an hour.
