Use: when extracting gold and silver from ores, concentrates and other products containing noble metals. The invention makes it possible to increase the selectivity of extraction of precious metals and to simplify the process. Essence: the initial gold-containing product is ground, mixed with a solution of sodium or potassium ferrocyanide. The treatment is carried out in an autoclave at 100 - 180 ° C and a compressed air pressure of 5 to 20 atm .

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used, in particular, for the extraction of gold and silver from ores, concentrates and other products containing noble metals.

A method is known for extracting gold and silver , in which cyanide salts of potassium or sodium are used as the solvent [1].

Disadvantages of this method are the use of an expensive reagent, which is also a potent substance, and insufficiently high process speed.

The closest technical solution to the proposed method is a method for extracting gold and silver , which involves treating the starting material with a solution of potassium cyanide or sodium in autoclaves at excess pressure of compressed air [2].

Disadvantages of the method taken as a prototype are the use of an expensive reagent, which is a potent poisonous substance, and its high consumption, due to the course of adverse reactions.

The object of the invention is to increase the selectivity of the process for leaching precious metals and to simplify the process.

The goal is achieved by the fact that in the method for extracting noble metals including autoclave leaching, the treatment of the starting material is carried out with a solution of potassium or sodium ferrocyanide at a temperature of 100-180 ° C and a compressed air pressure of 5-20 atm .

THE METHOD IS PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

The starting material, the gold-containing product, is ground, mixed with a solution of potassium ferrocyanide (or sodium) and subjected to autoclave treatment at a temperature of 100-180 ° C and a compressed air pressure of 5-20 atm . After autoclaving, the recovery of precious metals is carried out by known methods: either from pulps or from solutions after preliminary separation of the liquid and solid phases.

Example
The concentrate was extracted with a gold content of 107 g / t, arsenopyrite - 8.9%, pyrite - 19.3%, copper - 0.08%; Zinc - 0.06% . Oxidation of arsenopyrite and pyrite in an alkaline medium in autoclaves was carried out, the liquid and solid phases were separated. The solid phase was divided into two parts, each of which was subjected to cyanidation in autoclaves at a temperature of 140 ° C , a pressure of 14 at, at T: G = 1: 2 , for 5 hours .

In the first experiment, potassium ferrocyanide was used as a solvent, and sodium cyanide in the second. In both experiments, gold recovery was almost the same - 97.6% . The concentration of copper, zinc in leach solutions with sodium cyanide, respectively, was, mg / l : 13 and 25 ; And when using ferrocyanide 3 and 1.

Thus, the use of potassium ferrocyanide for the leaching of noble metals contributes to increased selectivity and simplification of the process.

CLAIM

METHOD OF REMOVING NOBLE METALS FROM SOLID MATERIALS , including leaching, characterized in that, in order to increase the selectivity and simplify the process, leaching is carried out using solutions of potassium or sodium ferrocyanide at 100-180 ° C and compressed air pressure of 5-20 atm .
