The invention relates to multifunctional additives to hydrocarbon fuels. The essence of the present invention is that an additive based on monomethylaniline stabilized with an antioxidant additionally contains oxypropylated alcohols with a molecular weight of 300 to 2000, ferrocene.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to additives for automobile gasolines. There are known gasolines, where monomethylaniline (TU 6-14-375-80) stabilized with an antioxidant (screened alkylphenols) is used as an additive to increase the detonation resistance (octane number), for example, the additive "ADA" according to TU 38.401-58-61-93 (99.8% monomethylaniline + 0.2% Agidol-12) [1]

The disadvantage of the additive "ADA" is the single-function of its action and a relatively low increase in the octane number (4-5 units) with a sufficiently high concentration in gasoline (1-1.5%). Further increase in the concentration of the known additive is limited by a progressive increase in highly toxic nitrogen oxides and nitrosoamines in the exhaust gases of the engine.

The purpose of the invention is to expand the functionality, aimed at increasing the specific volume detonation efficiency of the action, improving the environmental, anti-wear and other characteristics of gasoline of oil and gas condensate origin.

This is achieved by the fact that the additive based on monomethylaniline stabilized with an antioxidant contains, Oxypropylated fatty alcohols C 6 -C 16 with a molecular weight of 300-2000, for example, oxypropylated 2-ethylcyclohexanol 5-15, ferrocene (dicyclopentadienyl iron) 5-15, product "ADA" according to TU 38.401-58-61-93 (99, 8% monomethylaniline + 0.2% Agidol-12) to 100.

This additive is prepared as follows: successively in the product "ADA" is dissolved by stirring at 25-40 ° C the following compounds: ferrocene (dicyclopentadienyl iron) 5-15 wt. Oxypropylated fatty alcohols C 6 -C 16 with a molecular weight of 300-2000 5-15 wt.

The proposed composition improves the solubility of ferrocene, increasing the physical stability of the additive at low temperatures (Table 1), has a relatively high specific volume detonation efficiency, 2-6 times higher than monomethylaniline (Table 2), does not cause an increase in emissions of nitrogen oxides with exhaust gases and Simultaneously reduces the emission of carbon monoxide (Table 3) due to the reduction of deposits on the intake valves and the throttle valve of the carburettor engine (Table 4).
