The present invention relates to the field of refining and the automotive industry, specifically, to the composition of an additive providing high antiknock detonation, performance and environmental properties of automotive gasolines. The additive contains 5.0-30.0% of N-methylaniline, 0.5-10.0% of tertiary butyl alcohol, 0.5-30.0% of methyl alcohol, 10.0-45.0% of methyl-t-butyl Ether, 0.3-0.7% acetic aldehyde, 0.5-1.5% hydrocarbon fraction boiling in the range of 60-200 ° C, up to 100 ethyl alcohol. The additive may contain up to 6% by weight of the detergent additive. When using gasoline containing the proposed additive, the cleanliness of the fuel system of the car engine improves and fuel consumption is reduced.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of refining and the automotive industry, specifically to the composition of an additive providing high antiknock detonation, performance and environmental properties to motor gasolines.
It is known to use antiknock additives based on N-methylaniline in automotive gasolines (AM Danilov, "Application of Additives in Vehicle Fuels," in Ref., Moscow, Chemistry, 2000, p.232) or oxygenates, which include low molecular weight Alcohols, their ethers and mixtures thereof ("Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils", No. 2, 1994, p. 35-38).
Additives containing N-methylaniline and oxygenates are known.
Thus, for example, an additive to automobile gasoline is known, containing, by mass%: C 6 -C 8 -aromatic amines 7-94; Screened phenols or bisphenols 0.1-2.0; The reaction products of C 10 -C 40 aliphatic amines or C 6 -C 8 aromatic amines, oxyethylated C 8 -C 9 alkylphenols with 4-12 hydroxyethyl groups with oxidized hydrocarbons or monobasic C 10 -C 22 fatty acids or dibasic C 10 -C 20 acids, or mixtures of reaction products of 0.5-10 and aminophenols 0.1-2.0; And oxygenates selected from the group: methyl t-butyl ether, mixtures thereof with isobutyl, methyl or ethyl alcohol or dioxane alcohols.
(Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2078118, C 10 L 1/18, 1/22, 1995).
However, this additive has insufficiently high antiknock properties, and, in addition, the technology of production of this additive is energy-intensive, which serves as an obstacle to its practical use.
Additives containing N-methylaniline, oxygenates and stabilizing components are known.
Thus, an additive to gasoline is known which contains, by mass%: N-methylaniline up to 16, crotonaldehyde 0.1-1.0; Acetic aldehyde 0.3-1.5; Ethyl alcohol 0.1-0.8 and ethyl alcohol up to 100.
(Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2148077, C 10 L 1/18, 2000).
However, aldehydes and ethyl ether do not provide the addition of the required stabilizing properties.
The closest to the claimed is an additive containing, by mass%: N-methylaniline 6.5-70; N, N-dimethylaniline 0.5-5.0; Tertiary butyl alcohol 0.5-27.0; Methanol 0.5-30.0; Detergent additive not more than 6.0; Methyl tert-butyl ether to 100.
(Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2139914, C 10 L 1/18, 1/22, 1999).
However, when using this additive in the composition of automobile gasolines, it does not provide the required storage stability and high detonation rates of gasoline.
It is an object of the present invention to provide an additive for automobile gasolines having higher storage stability, improved anti-knock properties while maintaining high performance properties.
For the solution of the task in view, an additive is proposed for automobile gasolines containing, in mass%:
The difference of the claimed technical solution consists in the additional content of the additive of ethyl alcohol, acetic aldehyde, hydrocarbon fraction boiling in the range of 60-200 ° C, and in the declared ratio of components.
And, if necessary, the additive can contain up to 6% by weight detergent in its composition.
The selected composition of the components in the claimed ratio allowed to obtain a highly effective additive, providing motor gasolines with a significant increase in the octane number and improved stability in long-term storage.
All components included in the proposed additive are available products of industrial production. Prepare an additive for non-waste technology.
The table shows the composition of the samples of the proposed additive for motor gasolines and the results of their tests.
The prepared samples of the additive were tested in a reference fuel (a mixture of 70% by weight of isooctane and 30% by weight of normal heptane) using a set of qualification evaluation methods.
Chemical stability was assessed in accordance with GOST 2205; Corrosive aggressiveness in accordance with GOST 1855597; Antiknock properties in accordance with GOST 511-82 (motor method) at the UIT-85 unit; Detergent properties were estimated at the IT plant by the flushing coefficient (K cm ), the higher the value of the coefficient, the more effective the additive.
The test results confirm that only the combined content of the acetic aldehyde and the hydrocarbon fraction in the claimed ratio (samples 1, 4) provides it with high anti-knock properties, improved stability and high performance characteristics. The increase in the content of N-methylaniline (sample 5) in the composition is economically disadvantageous due to its high cost and, in addition, gives a smaller increase in the octane number, even at a higher concentration of the additive.
When using gasolines containing the proposed additive, the cleanliness of the fuel system of the car engine improves and fuel consumption is reduced.
