Use: as a means of enhancing germination, vigor and seed yield of eggplant.

The inventive product is a steroidal glycoside series furostana (somelongozid), yield 0.9% on dry stock. Reagent 1: the roots of eggplant. Reagent 2: 70% aqueous ethanol. Reagent 3: Sephadex G-50 column, eluent - distilled water. Seed germination is increased by 11-22%, the biomass is increased by 15%.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a bioorganic chemistry, in particular to methods of preparing steroidal glycosides from plant material.

A method of obtaining steroidal glycosides having antibacterial action, of the inflorescence and seed bow comprising degreasing plant raw material and extraction with methanol, concentrating the methanol extract, a dilution of the residue with water and extraction with butanol, evaporation of the obtained extract to dryness, which was dissolved in methanol, and the desired product was precipitated with acetone [1]

However, the known method is quite laborious.

The closest technical solution to the proposed method for producing a steroidal glycosides from plant material, which is dominated furastanolovye glycosides comprising water extraction material, resulting aqueous extract was then treated repeatedly with butanol, butanol extract was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was washed with acetone and dried in [2]

The disadvantage of this method is that the extraction must use large volumes of water and a correspondingly large volumes of butanol, the extract is concentrated in vacuo difficult. In addition, 1-butanol, along with a number furostana glycosides, steroid glycosides extracted several spirostana that strongly inhibit growth promoting processes in plants.

The purpose of the invention simplify the process of obtaining a number of steroid glucosides from the roots furostana eggplant having higher growth promoting activity compared to structural analogues.

The goal is achieved by a method comprising that the steroidal glycosides extracted from the roots of eggplant (Solanum Melongena L.) with 70% alcohol. The resulting extract is concentrated in vacuo to an aqueous residue which is chromatographed on a column of Sephadex G-50 using distilled water as eluent.

Dedicated control the desired product in a thin layer of silica gel solvent systems chloroform-methanol-water 65:35:10 (lower layer) and 65: 35: 7 (volume ratio), showing a chromatogram and Erlich reagents Sanyo.

example 1
1 kg of freshly crushed roots eggplant, poured 2 liters of 70% aqueous ethanol and extracted under heat for 4 hours, the extraction was repeated three times. The resulting extract is concentrated in vacuo to an aqueous residue which is chromatographed on a column of Sephadex G-50 using distilled water as eluent. Control of the division carried out by TLC in solvent system chloroform-methanol-water 65:35:10 (lower layer) and 65: 35: 7 (volume ratio), showing a chromatogram Sanya reagent and Ehrlich e.

There was thus obtained 9 g amount of steroid glycosides number furostana called somelongozid, representing 0.9% of the weight of the feedstock. The content of glycosides on the absolute dry weight of the roots of eggplant is 2.2%

Somelongozid is the sum of a number of glycosides chetyrehsteroidnyh furostana.

The IR spectrum of the drug contains a broad absorption band at 900 cm -1, characteristic of this type of glycosides.

Somelongozid is a powder of light-brown, non-hygroscopic, non-volatile, readily soluble in water, ethyl, methyl alcohols. Insoluble in acetone, chloroform, diethyl ether.

After acid hydrolysis, the total product as aglycone physicochemical methods identified tigogenin and diosgenin in the oligosaccharide portion glycosides paper chromatography and identified by gas-liquid glucose, rhamnose, galactose.

For pre-treatment of seeds of eggplant drug dissolved in distilled water at a concentration of 0.001; 0.005; 0.01% and 0.05 0.01% concentration was the most effective.

Simultaneously tested structural analogues: tomatozide [3] kapsikozid [4] melongozid [5] at the same concentrations. Experienced and growth regulators: Ivin, succinic acid, IAA.

Served as control seeds soaked in water.

example 2
Seeds of varieties of eggplant "Dnestrovets" in gauze bags will prevent the resulting glycoside solution for 24 hours and left at room temperature. The treated seeds were placed in Petri dishes with sand coated with filter paper, and incubated at a temperature of 20-30 ° C. After 5 days of germination energy determined after 10-day germination. Repeated experience 4 -fold in each variant. In one relearn 100 seeds. The results of these studies are presented in Table. 1.

Seeds treated with 0.01% solution of steroid glycosides, and control, soaked in water, planted in pots for seedlings. Germination was determined, measured basic morphological parameters of seedlings (20 days after seeding), and growth was calculated relative to control. The data on the increase in the basic biometric data are presented in Table. 2.

For comparison, the results made by the same method, where the seeds were soaked in a 0.005% solution of known stimulator of succinic acid.

As can be seen from the table, somelongozid provides maximum receipt of a positive effect for the germination and vigor of eggplant seeds in concentration 0.005-0.01% with increased germination by 11-22% germination by 20-24% compared with the control. The biomass of seedlings increased by 15% Structural analogues and growth stimulants had a weak positive effect, and biometrics seedlings even a negative effect.

Seedlings are derived from seeds treated with biologically active substances (somelongozid succinic acid 0.01% 0.005%), and and control (seeds treated water) planted in the field. We take into account the yield of eggplant. Data are presented in Table. 3.

The drug was tested in the field and the farm "Nistru" Anenii Noi District Moldova in the area of 7 hectares.

Before sowing the seeds are soaked in 0.01% solution somelongozida for 24 hours. Control plants were obtained from untreated seed glycoside on an area of 6.7 hectares. As stated, the output of final seedling in the experiment as compared with the control was 27%. The term of the output of finished seedlings was reduced to 13 days. Yields in the test version was 210 kg / ha, while in the control of 165 kg / ha, representing an increase of productivity by 27% relative to control.

Consequently, the sum of a number of steroidal glycosides furostana (somelongozid) stimulates germination, vigor eggplant seeds, stimulates the growth and development of plants in the early growing season, increases the productivity of eggplant on a 14-27%
