DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

There are known methods of treating chronic pharyngitis by inhalation therapy [1]

However, the known methods do not give significant results in patients receiving radiation with small doses of ionizing radiation.

The aim of the invention is to shorten the duration of treatment and to prolong remission.

The goal is achieved by the fact that after a minimal adaptation of the patient at the resort, he is given iodine-bromine baths by the general method every other day, for a course of 10 baths; In combination with inhalation therapy, and in the first 5 minutes, ultrasonic inhalation with mineral water is carried out, then for the next 3 minutes, Lugol solution is inhaled by the usual method according to the following formula: crystalline iodine 0,2; Potassium iodide 0,2; Glycerol 30.0. Inhalations are carried out daily for a course of 10 procedures.

An example of the execution of the method. Patient D. 1949 was in the clinic from June 7 to June 30, 1993 by profession electromechanics. Entered with the diagnosis: Astheno-neurotic syndrome. Chronic atrophic pharyngitis.

At admission, he complained of a headache of a vestigial nature more towards evening, irritability, dizziness, sleep disorder, and severe dryness and sore throat, a feeling of "coma", discomfort when swallowing. The patient participated in the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Was in the zone of radioactive radiation in 1986 for 6 months. The radiation dose fixed in the documents is 24.5 Baer.

The history of this disease. All his complaints and his general condition are associated with the patient's stay in Chernobyl, when on returning home he noted increased weakness, in 1988 there were disorders of the nervous system, then joined headaches, periodic dizziness, discomfort when swallowing, severe dryness and sore throat. It was treated out-patient: restorative therapy, vitamins, biostimulants and sedatives. Until 1993, the resort was not treated.

Data of objective research: the patient's condition is satisfactory. The body is of the normostenic type. Skin and visible mucous in pink. Lymph nodes are not palpable. When examining the ENT revealed: yawn slightly hyperactive, tonsils loose. Lacunas are free. The posterior wall of the pharynx is dry, shiny, as it were covered with a thin layer of lacquer. In places you can see dry peel. The mucous membrane of the nose is dry. No offices. Nasal breathing is free. The rest of all organs and systems are within normal limits.

In the course of the survey, a diagnosis was made: Chronic atrophic pharyngitis. Astheno-neurotic syndrome.

The patient is prescribed a course of treatment according to the proposed method:

• Adaptation 1-2 days;
• Climatological procedures according to the 1-P regime;
• Exercise regime is gentle;
• Therapeutic gymnastics in 1 regime;
• Diet N 15;
• General iodine-bromine baths every other day for a course of 10 baths (Table 1);
• Inhalation: ultrasonic with mineral water for 5 minutes, then inhalation for 3 minutes with Lugol solution in the usual way, daily for a course of 10 inhalations (Table 1).

During the 24-day stay of the patient at the resort, he was examined by a doctor 5 times. A good tolerability of all procedures was noted. Data of examination of patient D. are given in Table. 2.

The patient was discharged with the diagnosis: Astheno-neurotic syndrome. Chronic pharyngitis.

In the process of treatment, the patient received a full course of the proposed method and was discharged with significant improvement, which was manifested in the disappearance of headaches, dizziness, and sleep recovered. Disappeared complaints of dryness and perspiration in the throat, a sense of "coma", atrophic phenomena disappeared. Within a year after the received treatment, the patient did not present any complaints. He was not on the sick leave.

To assess the effectiveness of the proposed method of treatment, a comparative analysis of two groups was carried out:

• I group of 30 patients , liquidators of the Chernobyl accident with chronic pharyngitis on the background of astheno-neurotic syndrome. By age they were distributed as follows: 20-30 years 1 (3%), 31-40 years 14 (47%) 41-50 years 12 (40%), 51-60 years 3 (10%). All patients were male representatives, the dose of received irradiation was 0.78-25 Baer. According to the time of patients' stay in the zone of radioactive contamination, they were distributed as follows: 4-6 months 50% 1-2 months 37% 2-4 months 13%
• II group of 30 patients , liquidators of the Chernobyl accident with chronic pharyngitis on the background of astheno-neurotic syndrome. By age they were distributed: 35-40 years 10 (33%), 40-45 years 10 (33%), 45-48 years 10 (33%). All the patients were male. The dose of irradiation was 0.53-22 Baer. By the time they stayed in the zone of radioactive contamination, they were distributed: 1-2 months - 37% 2-4 months 35% 4-6 months 27%

From the table. 3 that the proposed method of treatment, including inhalation therapy against the background of iodine-bromine baths, is more effective.

After analyzing the table. 4, we can conclude that. If in group 1 the total number of objective data before treatment was 59.4% (complaints), and after treatment - 28.3%, then in group II: before treatment of complaints was 64.4% and after treatment - 3.6% The high efficiency of treatment of the proposed method.

From Table. 5 that the proposed method of treatment has a high efficacy of treatment, which amounts to a significant improvement in 72% and an improvement in 28% of patients discharged.

Thus, the proposed method of treating liquidated patients exposed to small doses of ionizing radiation, in which astheno-neurotic syndrome and atrophic pharyngitis developed, has a pronounced therapeutic effect and avoids the development of pathological reactions.
