The invention relates to medicine, in particular to pulmonology, and can be used for the treatment of bronchial asthma and obstructive bronchitis. The method is characterized in that it additionally produce interstitial electrostimulation sympathetic nervous system innervating the bronchi and lungs by a needle electrode, with the pulse current impact strength 5-20 mA, 10-25 Hz frequency, 0.5ms pulse width with the cathode , exposure time 20 minutes, and in the lower third of the sternum pulsed current frequency of 50-70 Hz, pulse duration of 0.5 ms from the anode, the current is adjusted individually and gradually increase it until you feel the vibration painless, lasting 10 minutes, in 2 days from 3 to 10 procedures in the course. The proposed method can improve treatment efficiency by reducing the time of treatment.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to the pulmonology.
Currently there are several methods for treating asthma and obstructive bronchitis [1, 2, 3].
The disadvantage of these methods is the long-term treatment.
The object of the invention is to reduce the duration of treatment.
The task is achieved by the action of an electric current in the area of the spine where the nerves are located education innervate the bronchi and lungs, and nerve receptors sternum. This uses a pulse current of 5-20 mA, frequency 10-25 Hz and 50-70 Hz, 0.5 ms duration which is applied to the vertebral arch in over 30 minutes with intervals between two sessions of the day, for a course of procedures 3-10 treatment.
Electrical stimulation of the autonomic nervous formations held in the spine at the level of the location of the nerve cells involved in the innervation of the lungs and bronchi.
The invention is illustrated by the following drawings:
Figure 1 shows the position of the patient during the procedure, interstitial
spinal electrostimulation
FIG. 2 shows the position of the patient during the interstitial electrostimulation sternum
Method is as follows
The procedure consists of two parts: the first is the impact of interstitial electrotherapy on the spine, the sympathetic nervous system, the second - at the point of the sternum, where are biologically active pain of the periosteum and bone area, reflexively associated with the bronchi and lungs.
1. ELECTROSTIMULATION SPINE. For the procedure, the patient is placed on his stomach, created the position of a light flexion of the spine by putting a pillow under the patient's chest.
After treatment of the skin with alcohol sterile intramuscular injection needle supplied in Interspinous period before contact with the shackle thoracic vertebrae in accordance with the location of the level of sympathetic nerve structures that innervate the bronchi and lungs.
Activation of the sympathetic nervous system responsible for the lungs is performed by exposing the -Th 1-6 C 7 vertebrae. Determine the most painful vertebrae to their bow or spinous processes fed the needle electrode. In the following procedure, determine the other most painful vertebra and then perform the procedure. In the absence of painful vertebral procedure begins with C7 vertebra in subsequent procedures reduce the level of needle injection at one vertebra within the marked area. Passive electrode area of 60-80 cm is placed on the body of the sternum area.
current settings. By the needle pulse current is supplied to the negative pole of the device frequency of 10-25 Hz (polarity of the current and frequency has the maximum stimulating effect), a pulse duration of 0.5 ms (most physiological parameter for a nerve impulses). Current selected individually depending on the patient's subjective sensations (in this case there is a painless pressure and vibration) and ranges of 5-20 mA current. The first force is small current procedure, then as you get used to the current (increase of the threshold of sensitivity) amperage increases. We should strive to maximize current since Good effect is observed at 20 mA. The procedure lasts 20 minutes (shorter duration does not give sufficient clinical effect, long duration of the procedure is to adapt to the current increase in the absence of treatment effectiveness).
2. ELECTROSTIMULATION sternum. The patient is turned back on. Passive cutaneous electrodes placed between the shoulder blades in the region of T 2-4 vertebrae. After treatment, the skin alcohol-electrode needle (hypodermic injection needle) is inserted into the most painful point in the lower third of the sternum body. Pain point in these patients is always there, and it is associated with bone. In the following procedure, a needle is introduced into a number of underlying pain point, etc. Usually a space vkoly 0.5 cm from each other, as re-introduction of the needle into the same point leads to painful and its overstimulation current.
current settings. For needle-electrode current is supplied to the positive pole of the frequency of 50-70 Hz (polarity of the current and frequency has a trophic effect), the pulse duration of 0.5 ms. The current intensity is adjusted individually, it gradually increased to a painless vibration sensations. The procedure lasts 10 minutes (shorter duration does not give sufficient clinical effect, long duration of the procedure is to adapt to the current increase in the absence of treatment effectiveness).
TREATMENT consists of 3-10 sessions, depending on the results of the impact. Carrying out at least 3 sessions gives meaningful clinical effect, the rate of more than 10 sessions, is not conducive to the further positive dynamics of clinical symptoms due to the current emerging adaptation. The optimal interval between sessions is 2 days, as 2 days on the third exercise maximum clinical benefit from the procedure. The therapeutic effect continues to mount after 10-14 days after treatment.
EXAMPLE Patient N., 40 years old. Diagnosis: Asthma: infectious-dependent, moderate, between attacks. Chronic obstructive bronchitis. Emphysema. DN 2.
As a basic therapy the patient continues to take inhaled corticosteroids at a dose of 800 mg / day. This aggravation arose against the background of the above basic treatment. During the course of interstitial electrostimulation amount and dosage of basic therapy remains unchanged.
For the patient is placed on the stomach, creating a slight bend in the thoracic spine.
After the treatment the skin with alcohol, sterile injection needle (cathode) is fed into Interspinous period prior to contact with the bone, starting from the C 7 -Th 1. Passive electrode (anode) placed on the sternum of the body. In subsequent procedures, reduce the level of needle injection 1 vertebrae within the innervation of the lungs. Current up feeling a large painless vibrations under the electrodes, the frequency - 10 Hz, pulse width - 0.5 ms exposure time of 20 min.
Further, the position of the patient lying on his back carried interstitial electrostimulation of the sternum with the "+" - pole, with the passive electrode is placed in the interscapular region. Amperage painless feeling to the average vibration frequency - 70 Hz, 0.5 ms pulse duration, the exposure time of 10 min. The interval between treatments 2 days, 6 treatments per course of treatment.
After 3 treatments decreased shortness of breath, cough wet acquired character to the 6th procedure improved indicators of external respiration, in particular vital capacity and FEV1, the trend towards normalization of immunological parameters, normalization which occurred in 4 weeks of starting treatment. According cardiointervalography determined to restore balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system. After 4 weeks of treatment the patient moved from 3 to 2 stages according to the stepped approach to asthma therapy [International Consensus Report on Diagnosis and Treatment of Asthma, 1992; Global Initiative for Asthma, 1995].
This object is achieved: interstitial electrostimulation course conducted in 110 patients with bronchial asthma, moderate and severe degrees of severity and obstructive bronchitis. Clinical efficacy was 94%, with a significant improvement and improvement was observed in 46 and 48%, respectively, no positive dynamics was observed in 6% of patients. After a course of treatment improved indices airway medium and small caliber, and a VC and FVC. Correction is obtained in the form of immune disorders normalize quantity and function of T-lymphocyte subpopulations eliminating imbalance, activation of phagocytosis. cardiointervalography results suggest a restoration of the balance of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system. After treatment has been made possible more rapid reduction of the dose of basic drugs. Long-term observations have shown resistance resulting therapeutic effect. The fact of that half of the patients in the long term there was a lower incidence of acute respiratory infections, for which in some cases took abortifacient in nature and not cause regularities typical for them to treat exacerbations of asthma.
