The invention relates to medicine, namely, to dermatology, and can be used in the treatment of psoriasis. It is suggested to carry out complex medicamentous therapy, including the appointment of xymedon daily inwards for 0.5 g 3 times a day for up to 2-3 weeks. The method allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment of psoriasis.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to medicine, to dermatology, namely to methods of treating psoriatic disease.
At present, several methods of medication for various forms of psoriasis with immunocorrecting drugs are known, among them the most widely used are methyluracil, T-activin, levamisole diucifone and others. Preparations of pyrimidine bases have found wide application in dermatology.
However, the methods of treating various forms of psoriasis are marked by a wide variety of means.
The use of immunocorrecting drugs (sodium nucleate, levomizol, T-activin, methyluracil) in some cases causes headache, sleep disturbance, increased body temperature, dyspeptic phenomena, allergic reactions, agranulocytosis, general weakness, cyanosis, anemia, liver dysfunction, which complicates The condition of patients and forces clinicians to correct their condition with the help of other medicines.
The search for new effective methods that affect psoriasis is topical, since immunological drugs have a curative effect with a decrease in immunity only with prolonged treatment, i.e. Have a significant latent period in action, the reduction of this period certainly plays an important role in the treatment of various forms of psoriasis.
As a new method of influencing the immune system, regeneration of the skin, a method of treatment with xymedon is proposed, which is characterized by high efficacy with a shorter duration of treatment compared with other immunomodulators. Most of the applied immunomodulators are synthesized abroad (levamisole).
The object of the invention is to develop a method of medicamentally influencing the immunological system in psoriasis. This goal is achieved by using as an immunomodulator medication Xymedon.
Xymedon is known as an immunostimulating drug affecting the regeneration of the skin, it is allowed for industrial production for medical purposes by the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation 287 of 07.12.93. Produced in the form of tablets of 0.25 g.
The use of xymedon has shown that the drug accelerates tissue regeneration processes, shortens treatment time, helps normalize the immune system, improves regional blood circulation.
The claimed method is carried out as follows. Patients are prescribed courses of treatment with xymedon up to 2-3 weeks.
The above examples, reflecting the results of the study and the clinical evaluation of the use of xymedon in comparison with conventional methods of treatment, disclose the essence of the invention and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Example 1 . Patient K., 51, complained of a rash in the back of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, the scalp, itching. He is sick for about 4 years. At objective survey the pathological process has widespread character, is localized in the field of a back, a breast, a stomach of the top, the bottom extremities, a pilar part of a head. Psoriatic elements are bright pink in color, with clear boundaries 0.5-3.5 cm in diameter, covered with silver-white scales, easily removable when scraping. On the skin of the scalp, foci of pink color, there is small-lamellar ecdysis. The process is of a focal and draining character. The psoriatic triad is positive.

The patient is scheduled daily intake of xymedon inside 2 tablets 3 times daily before meals and lubrication of lesions with 2% salicylic vaseline before clinical improvement. After 10-12 days after the beginning of treatment, improvement was noted. Psoriatic elements became pale pink on the skin of the scalp and depigmented spots began to appear in the back area. The itch stopped. On day 25 there was a significant improvement in the skin. Psoriatic elements completely disappeared, in their place remained depigmentation. And the normalization of indicators of cellular and humoral immunity was noted.
Example 2 . The patient S., 26 years old, turned to the skin clinic with complaints about the appearance of rashes in the upper, lower extremities, back, chest, abdomen, slight itching. He is sick for 4 years. Objectively: the pathological process is widespread, localized in the back, chest, upper abdomen, lower limbs of the hands on both sides. Psoriatic elements are bright pink, with clear boundaries, diameter from 2 to 4.5 cm, coating with silver-white scales, easily removable when scraping. The foci are prone to fusion, forming plaques. The symmetry of the lesion is noted. The nail plates are affected by the type of onychography in the area of the hands and feet on both sides. Psoriatic triad is positive. Subjective: mild itching.
Dz .: Common vulgar coin-plaque psoriasis, progressive stage. Autumn-spring form.
The patient received treatment for 25 days by the above method.
After 14 days, there was a visible improvement, the lesions became paler, Voronov's coronet appeared in the back, chest, abdomen in the region of the hands on both sides of the psoriatic elements began to disappear. After 25 days almost complete disappearance of psoriatic elements and normalization of immunological parameters were noted.
Example 3. Patient N., 24 years old, turned to the skin clinic with complaints of rash in the area of the hands on both sides, on the skin of the extensor surface of the knee joints. He is sick for 6 years.
Objectively: The pathological process is localized in the area of the extensor surfaces of the lower limbs of the hands on both sides, is represented by papules 0.5 to 2 cm in diameter with a bright pink color, with clear boundaries, coating with silver-white scales. The symmetry of the lesion is noted.
The psoriatic triad is positive. Subjective: there is no itching.
Dz .: Vulgar kaplevidno-coin-like psoriasis, a progressive stage. Light form. The treatment was performed as described above. On day 8 improvement of the skin process and normalization of immunological parameters were noted.
After 21 days, complete disappearance of lesions was noted.
The proposed method of influence on the immune system of the body with vulgar psoriasis, manifested by a decrease in immunological parameters, was tested in the inpatient conditions of the dermatological and venereological dispensary of the city of Kazan. The results of the treatment were evaluated by a clinical method and a laboratory diagnostic method.
With the use of xymedon, there is a much more pronounced therapeutic effect compared with the traditional methods of treatment and a favorable effect on the course of the disease.
The drug has no toxic effect, does not cause side effects, allergic reactions, positively affects intracellular and cellular regeneration, stimulates protective mechanisms, affects factors that inhibit regeneration, moreover, xymedon exerts a noticeable immunostimulating effect, increasing specific and nonspecific defense mechanisms.
In both groups, by the end of Xymedon therapy and traditionally accepted therapies, there was an improvement in the following indicators, which turned out to be the most informative.
In comparison with the control group of traditional treatment of patients it was noted:
- a faster transition from the progressive stage to the inpatient (on average 11 days after treatment versus 17 days in the usual treatment);
- Earlier terms of resorption of infiltration in the foci, appearance of Voronov's corolla decrease of erythema;
- a positive clinical result, all patients are well tolerated treatment, in no case there was an exacerbation of the skin process;
- there is a normalization of the basic immunological parameters: eliminates the signs of immunodeficiency and autoimmunization, which underlies the therapeutic effect.
Treatment with xymedon can be used in patients of different age groups with concomitant pathology, regardless of the seasonality of dermatosis. Possible long-term use of immunocorrection and repeated courses.
Thus, the drug showed its high efficacy, the absence of side effects, persistent remission, accompanied by normalization of the immune system and shortening of hospitalization. Therefore, xymedon can be recommended for wide application.
