Date of commencement of the patent: 1996.07.05

The invention relates to medicine, more specifically to dermatology, and can be used to treat allergic dermatitis. For this, a dressing moistened with 2-4% solution of sea salt "Achilles" is applied to the lesion center at a temperature of 28-37 ° C for 10-20 minutes; Course of treatment 7-12 procedures. The method allows to reduce economic costs, is accessible and effective.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

(EN) The invention relates to medicine; Namely to balneotherapy, and can be used to treat allergic dermatitis in patients.

In balneotherapy in the treatment of allergic dermatoses use common and local baths of mineral water, showers, irrigation. In this case, sulfide, radon, iodide-bromine, sodium chloride, nitric-thermal waters are used in various dilutions. ("Balneotherapy for diseases in childhood" edited by Karachevtseva TV - M., Medicine, 1980, p. 385).

Disadvantages: high cost of the method, age restrictions (used only in older children), intolerance to common baths for a number of diseases.

The prototype of the method is the therapeutic sea salt "Achilles" (patent No. 2028274 TU 9318-001-12018695-93). This is a special mixture of healing minerals of high purity, sorted from different horizons of the Verkhnekamsk ancient sea without any chemical additives and reagents. When dissolved, it gives clean, clear water, close in composition to the water of the World Ocean and to the blood plasma of humans and animals.

It is allowed to use a solution of salt as a means for taking baths.

Chemical formula of the "Achilles" salt: NaCl M MgCl K KCl HO HO.

Percent cation ratio: Na - 77 eq.%; Mg = 12 eq.%; K = 10 eq.%; Ca = 1 eq.%.

Percentages of anions: Cl - 98 eq.%; SO 1 equiv.%.

The Achilles salt is a mixture of minerals: natural NaCl halite and natural yellow carnallite MgCl.sub.K KCl.sub.H 6HO of high purity, which is extracted from rocks at Verkhnekamsk Combine in the mountains. Solikamsk of the Perm Region.

Disadvantages: high cost of the method, age restrictions (used only in older children), intolerance to common baths for a number of diseases.

The invention is directed to the solution of the problem: the expansion of the application of salt by the use of a medicament in those patients who do not tolerate common baths (patients with cardiovascular diseases, young children); Cheaper ways.

This task is achieved through applications to the lesion of the bandage moistened in a 2-4% solution of the Achilles salt at a temperature of 28-37 ° C for 10 to 20 minutes daily, and a course of 7 to 12 procedures.

The method is carried out as follows: the gauze dressing (6 - 8 layers of gauze) is wetted in a 2 to 4% solution of the Achilles salt. As a solvent, water passed through a household filter and boiled (water temperature 28 - 37 o C) is used. Gauze bandage is applied to the lesion for 10 to 20 minutes. The procedures are conducted daily, the course - 7 - 12 procedures. The dressing must completely cover the lesion.

Examples of specific applications

Example 1 . Patient P., 11 years old. The diagnosis: an eczema of brushes.

In the anamnesis - from 3 months allergic diathesis; Further transformed into a children's eczema.

Currently, manifestations of eczema are present on the hands on the lateral surfaces of the fingers. The girl did not receive medication.

At the primary examination, two foci were measured on the lateral surfaces of the fingers of the left hand: 2 x 1.5 cm and 4 x 2 cm in the form of maceration of the epithelium, with its detachment along the edges of the foci, hyperemia of the skin in the foci, and general dry skin, but without moss.

Local treatment with 4% solution of "Achilles" salt was fine-grained. 7 procedures were performed for 20 minutes daily; The temperature of the solution is 28 ° C.

After the third procedure, the foci cleared, the foci of foci and the dryness of the skin around them decreased. After the 7th procedure, the focal epithelialization occurred.

On examination, a week after the end of treatment, no signs of skin lesions were detected.

Example 2 . Patient S., 3 years 3 months. Diagnosis: atopic dermatitis. He suffers from manifestations of allergic dermatosis from 6 months.

At a primary examination, the manifestation of dermatitis is predominantly on the dorsal surface of the hands, in the form of skin infiltration, small scales within the infiltrate, severe dryness of the skin. On the left hand the focus is 4 x 3 cm, on the right 4 x 7 cm.

Local treatment with 3% saline was performed; Solution temperature 35 ° C; The duration of the procedure is 15 minutes, the course is 10 procedures.

After 5 procedures, focal infiltration resolved; Remained dry skin, pinpoint papules. After 10 procedures - the skin has cleared, the dryness is insignificant.

Example 3 . Patient K., 1 year 7 months. Diagnosis: childhood eczema; Polyvalent food allergy.

The manifestations of eczema in the form of erythematous-squamous foci on both buttocks and in the bovine fold.

Twelve procedures were performed daily; Solution temperature 37 ° C; Concentration - 2%; The duration of the procedure is 10 minutes.

Focal size before and after treatment:

  • Right buttock 4 x 7 cm (2 x 2 cm)
  • Left buttock 2.5 x 2.5 cm (-)
  • Interannual. Fold 3.5 x 3.5 cm (-)

At the site of resorbed foci, there was a slight dryness of the skin.

Contraindications for this method : skin pyoderma, wet eczema.

The positive effect of this application technique is minimal economic costs, simplicity and accessibility; The possibility of such treatment at home and in a hospital. The technique can be used alone or in combination with other methods of treatment. In this way, it is possible to treat patients of any age and those patients who do not tolerate common baths.
