The invention relates to medicine, more specifically to dermatology, and can be used in the treatment of psoriasis. To do this, the patient is administered epithalamin 1 ml intramuscularly each day in an amount of 20-25 injections with exacerbation of psoriasis and 10 injections of 1 ml 2-3 courses prophylactically in different seasons of the year. The introduction of epithalamin is combined with local and internal effects of boron-containing mineral water. The method allows to improve the condition of patients and prevent out-of-season exacerbations.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to dermatology.

According to modern ideas, psoriasis is a systemic disease of the whole organism ("psoriatic disease"), which has a pronounced seasonal character.

Methods of treatment of psoriasis based on the use of various medicinal substances inside and outside are known: vitamin therapy, antihistamines, pyrogens, immunomodulators, T-actinvin, thymogen, thymalin, heparin, methylxanthines, cytostatics, tigazone, interferon, lipolytic agents, hemosorption, enterosorption and (Manual on the treatment of skin diseases, edited by AL Mashkileyson, M., 1990). For external treatment of psoriasis, keratomic, keratoplastic ointment remedies, UFO, PUVA-therapy, balneotherapy, magnetolaser therapy, inductothermy, electrophoresis, cryomassage, etc. are widely used.

Local ointment treatment has an anti-inflammatory, resolving and softening effect only on the skin process.

All these methods of treatment only remove the seasonal exacerbation that has already come, without preventing it.

The object of the invention is to prevent the onset of an exacerbation.

As a prototype, the use of epithalamin bioregulator for the treatment of exacerbation of psoriasis, one course, with the purpose of simultaneous effect on the immunological system and microcirculation (Isayeva MP Comparative characteristics of the action of thymalin and epithalamin on the system of hemostasis and immunogenesis in patients with advanced forms of psoriasis. Report of the VI All-Russian Congress of Dermatovenerologists, Moscow, 1989, p. 2 pp. 437-438).

The disadvantage of this method is that a single application of epithalamin relieves exacerbation in patients with seasonal type of psoriasis, and in patients with an indeterminate type of psoriasis there continue to be limited foci of lesion, mainly on the upper and lower extremities, which are the basis for the next exacerbation of dermatosis under the influence of external factors. Uncertain type of flow is associated with the disruption of seasonal biorhythms (or cyclic seasonal fluctuations in physiological functions in patients' bodies). This leads to a mismatch between the functional systems among themselves (nervous, endocrine, immune, coagulating systems, etc.) and with external time sensors, when the seasonal biorhythm of exacerbations of dermatosis, which is habitual for the patient with psoriasis, passes into an inverted, pathological rhythm, with exacerbations in any Season and worsening the prognosis of the disease.

Epithalamin, in addition to influencing the immunological system and microcirculation, has a regulating effect on biorhythms in the body through the neuroendocrine system, which allows it to be used to align functional systems with each other and external time sensors.

The aim of the invention is to increase the therapeutic effectiveness of the treatment.

The goal is achieved by intramuscular injection of epithalamin, irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and bandages from mineral boron-containing water (for example, Mukhenskoye Khabarovsk Krai, well No. 30-283.) Medical conclusion of the Pyatigorsk Research Institute of Balneology and Physiotherapy of 26.05.1992 GOST 32-73 -88) on the limited centers of defeat. Epithalamin is administered daily in 1 ml, in the amount of 20-25 injections with exacerbation of psoriasis and 10 injections of epithalamin 1 ml, in addition 2-3 preventive courses in different seasons of the year, locally, bandages with mineral boron-containing water are applied locally for limited plaques within 1 , 5-2 hours after 45-60 min after UV irradiation of limited foci of lesion. Simultaneously, a drinking regimen is prescribed in the form of reception of boron-containing mineral water, 250 ml three times a day, 30 minutes before meals with a water temperature of 38-40 ° C (for 20-25 days as a curative course and 10-15 days of preventive).

Advantages of the proposed method is that it

- Prevent out-of-season exacerbations;

- normalizes biorhythms, coordinating the functional systems between themselves and external time sensors;

Example 1 . Patient S., 56 years old. Suffers from psoriasis for 25 years. In the first years of the disease, exacerbations of the skin process were seasonal in nature (winter type of course). Then, after 5-6 years of active treatment in outpatient and inpatient settings: pyrogenal, hemosorption, cytostatics, PUVA therapy, etc., the skin process passed into an off-season type and for a long period was practically not solved, remaining on the lower and upper extremities in the form of single Psoriatic ("on duty") plaques. Exacerbations arose under the influence of psychoemotional experiences, catarrhal (viral) diseases, hypothermia, exacerbations of hr. Cholecystitis, etc. at any time of the year, every year it becomes more difficult to give in to therapy. Long-term external treatment with ointments in outpatient settings did not lead to a noticeable positive result.

At the next exacerbation epithalamin was administered in the amount of 25 intramuscular injections. Later, the patient was treated with 3 epilaminamine prophylaxis (1.0 ml / muscle N 10) every three months with ingestion of mineral boron-containing water in 250 ml x 3 times a day (30 min before meals) with external application of wet-drying Bandages with mineral water after UV irradiation of lesions. During the two-year follow-up period with the seasonal course of preventive treatment of exacerbations of dermatosis, the patient was not observed.

Example 2 . Patient R., 40 years old with psoriasis for 10 years. Annually, in winter, he received treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings. The last 3-4 years of exacerbation of dermatosis took an off-season character (having passed into an indefinite type of course) with a constant presence of "on-call" plaques on the trunk, extremities. At the next exacerbation of the skin process, the dermatosis began to transform into erythroderma with the involvement of extensive lesions on the entire surface of the trunk and extremities. The patient was treated for a long time in stationary conditions by various drugs and techniques using a laser and EHF-therapy. From the hospital, he was discharged with significant improvement, but individual psoriatic plaques continued to be significant in various areas of the skin. A month after discharge in connection with psychoemotional stress caused by troubles at work, the skin process exacerbated again. The patient was treated with epithalamin 1.0 ml, intramuscularly, 25 injections daily with the use of ointment therapy. Then, an epilaminamine treatment was administered every 3 months in the amount of 15 injections of 1.0 ml in / muscular in combination with UV and wet-drying bandages moistened with boron-containing mineral water, UV-irradiation and drinking regimen were prescribed according to the above scheme. The result was the absence of exacerbations during the entire 3-year period of observation of the disease with the use of a therapeutic and prophylactic method according to the seasonal course of epithalamin treatment, in combination with local treatment with boron-containing mineral water in out-of-resort conditions.

As a result of using the claimed method, the state of patients improves, since there are no off-season exacerbations.

The method can be used in outpatient and inpatient settings.
