Methods of treating neuroses, neurasthenia with various syndromes, and disorders of central hemodynamics are known.

However, the known methods do not give the desired result of treatment, since the treatment is long, and the terms of remission are small. [1]

The aim of the invention is to shorten the duration of treatment and to prolong remission.

The goal is achieved by the fact that after minimal adaptation, the patient is prescribed common hydrogen sulphide baths in a stepwise-increasing concentration regime from 25-50-100-150 ml / l of hydrogen sulfide at an exposure time of 6-8-10-12-15 min combined with irrigation Head with hydrogen sulfide water on the day of taking baths, after 30 minutes rest, at the concentration of hydrogen sulfide: the first 5 procedures 100 mg / l, at a time of 10 minutes N 5. Then, the following five procedures for head irrigation are carried out at a hydrogen sulfide concentration of 150 mg / l for 10 minutes. A total of 10 courses a day.

THE METHOD IS PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

After minimal adaptation of the patient at the resort, from the second day, hydrogen sulphide baths are prescribed every other day for a course of 10 procedures with the concentration of hydrogen sulphide: the first two procedures in 25 mg / l, duration of 6.8 minutes; The third and fourth procedures are 50 mg / l, lasting 10 minutes, 12 minutes; Fifth and sixth procedures of 100 mg / l, duration of 15 minutes; The seventh - the tenth procedure of 150 mg / l, the duration of 15 minutes.

The patient is 39 years old. Was in the clinic of the Institute, in the neurology department from 2.07.92 to 27.07.92. I was diagnosed with: Vegetative-vascular dystonia with astheno-neurotic manifestations. At admission I complained of weakness, quick fatigue, irritability, short temper, instability of mood; Anxiety, headache, dizziness after overwork, sleep disorder, pain in the heart after nervous and emotional overload, pain in the lumbar spine.

The patient took part in the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986, was in the radioactive contamination zone for 2 months. The radiation dose is 24.5 Beer.

After returning from Chernobyl, the patient noted increased weakness. In 1988, complaints of nervous system disorders appeared, followed by headaches, a feeling of heaviness in the occipital part of the head, and occasional dizziness. I was treated out-patient about astheno-neurotic syndrome: general restorative therapy, vitamins, biostimulants, sedatives. Later, he was registered as a "liquidator" of the Chernobyl accident. Outpatient treatment was conducted up to 2 times a year. Previously, sanatorium treatment was not accepted.

DATA OF OBJECTIVE RESEARCH

The patient's condition is satisfactory, his physique is of the normostenic type. Skin and visible mucous membranes are clean, pale pink, subcutaneous fat is moderately developed. In the course of the survey, a diagnosis was made: Asthenic-neurotic syndrome with vegeto-vascular dystonia.

The patient is prescribed treatment according to the proposed method:

  • Climatological procedures according to the I-II regime, the physical activity is sparing, adaptation is 2, 3 days, morning and therapeutic gymnastics according to the second regime;

  • Total hydrogen sulphide baths in the regime of step-up concentration from 25-50-100-150 mg / l at the exposure time of 6-8-10-12-15 minutes (Table 1) every other day for a course of 10 procedures, irrigation of the head with hydrogen sulfide water in Days of taking baths at the concentration of hydrogen sulphide: the first five procedures are 100 mg / l for 10 minutes, then 150 mg / l for 10 minutes (starting from the sixth head irrigation procedure the concentration of hydrogen sulfide is constant 150 mg / l for 10 minutes) for a course of 10 procedures.

During the 24-day stay in the clinic, the patient was examined by a doctor 5 times. All procedures are well tolerated. The patient was discharged with the diagnosis: Asthenic-neurotic syndrome with vegeto-vascular dystonia.

In the course of treatment, the patient received a full course of planned treatment and was discharged with significant improvement, which was manifested in the disappearance of attacks of headache, dizziness, and recovery of sleep. The patient had a good rest, became more calm, balanced, pains along the course of the spine do not disturb.

DATA OF THE SURVEY AFTER TREATMENT

ECG: sinus rhythm. Normal position of electric. Heart. Without dynamics.

REG: blood vessels in the brain in the pool of internal carotid arteries recovered. The tonus of the arteries, the elasticity of the vessels, the venous circulation are normalized.

After the treatment, the functional mode of the functional link of humoral immunity was normalized.

In general, the positive effect of the proposed method of treatment on the patient was noted.

To assess the effectiveness of the proposed method of treatment, a comparative analysis of 2 groups of patients was carried out.

Group I of 30 patients with astheno-neurotic syndrome with vegeto-vascular dystonia phenomena developing in persons who participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident, exposed to low doses of ionizing radiation and frequent stressful situations.

I group (prototype) received a complex of sanatorium treatment including general hydrogen sulphide baths + LFK + climatotherapy. Accepted treatment according to the proposed method: against the backdrop of climatotherapy and exercise therapy, general hydrogen sulphide baths and irrigation of the head with hydrogen sulfide water every other day for a course of 10 procedures (treatment scheme Table 1).

Thus, the proposed method of treatment with the use of hydrosulphuric balneotherapy in combination with head irrigation is more effective.

Comparative characteristics of immunological parameters under the influence of 2 treatment complexes are given in Table 5.

Comparative results of rheographic data on the background of treatment in both groups are given in Table 6.

Analyzing Table 5, we come to the conclusion that hydrogen sulphide baths have a soft modulating effect, i.e. Restore immunological parameters without inducing hyperstimulation of the immune system, but the use of hydrogen sulphide water in combination with head irrigation has a stronger immunomodulatory effect, causing changes that positively influence the imbalance of the immune system. Under the influence of the proposed method of treatment, more significant activity of the quantitative link of immunity and a decrease in the index of regulation towards T-helper cells were revealed. There is an increase in T-suppressor cells aimed at suppressing excessive activity of the quantitative link of humoral immunity, as indicated by the tendency toward normalization of the absolute number of B-lymphocytes.

Comparing the results of rheographic data against the background of the treatment, it can be concluded that the most pronounced therapeutic effect was obtained as a result of the course of treatment according to the proposed method. A more pronounced (II grade) decrease in the rheographic index was observed at 5.8 cm on the right and 0.3 cm on the left, indicating a more significant decrease in the tone of the peripheral cerebral vessels compared to the first group and approaching the indices to the upper limit of the norm .

In the first group, the modulus of elastic modulus decreased by 0.6% on the right and by 0.9% on the left, while in the second group the decrease in the modulus of elasticity was more pronounced, by 3.7% on the right and by 2.7% On the left, which approximates the indicators at the upper limit of the norm.

Thus, according to the results of REG, the proposed method of treatment is more effective.

As a result of the analysis of Table. 7, we can note a higher effectiveness of the proposed method of treatment, including common hydrogen sulphide baths and head irrigation with hydrogen sulfide water, where 57% and 43% of patients discharged with slight improvement and without dynamics were discharged with significant improvement and improvement.

Thus, the proposed method of treatment of liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, exposed to small doses of ionizing radiation, in which astheno-neurotic syndrome developed, has pronounced therapeutic effects.
