The method is intended for use in the jewelry industry. Includes applying a mass with pearlescent effect on the inner side of the substrate, which is a hollow transparent body of rotation, by centrifugation. Increases the productivity of the process and increases the longevity of the coating.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention is intended for use in the jewelry industry, refers to the decorative finishing of hollow transparent products to obtain imitation of pearls.

A method for manufacturing blanks with imitation of pearls is known (SU 482474 A1, class B 44 F 9/08, 1975). The disadvantage of the method is that it allows the production of sheet blanks, rather than bulky products.

A method for producing articles with pearl imitation is known, comprising applying a mass with a pearlescent effect to a substrate (EP 0249156, A2, class B 44 C 5/00, 1987).

The drawbacks of the known method are the long duration and laboriousness of the coating forming process, and its short life due to a sufficiently large thickness.

The object of the invention is to provide a new high-performance method for producing articles with imitation of pearls coated with a long durability.

This object is achieved in that in the method for producing articles with pearl imitation comprising applying a mass with a pearlescent effect to a substrate according to the invention, the application of the mass is carried out on the inner side of the substrate, which is a hollow transparent body of rotation, by centrifugation.

Such a method makes it possible to easily and quickly form products with a coating simulating pearls, which is a molecular layer.

The presence of distinctive features makes it possible to obtain a technical result, expressed in increasing the productivity of the process and increasing the longevity of the coating.

An example of a specific application of the invention.

In the rotor of a batch centrifuge rotating at a speed of 270 rpm, the articles to be coated are loaded, which are hollow transparent rotation bodies with a pearlescent mass inside them. As such a mass, a pearl patch is used, which is a suspension of crystalline guanine in lacquer according to GOST 18170-72. A sample of such a paste is placed in hollow articles, poured with acetone, mixed and centrifuged.

In this way, the molecular layer of the coating is obtained on the inner surfaces of the articles, and the excess of the paste is extruded through the central part of the hollow article.

The method used makes it possible to quickly and easily form coatings imitating pearls on the inner surface of hollow articles, characterized by great durability.

CLAIM

A method for producing pearl imitation products comprising applying a pearlescent mass to a substrate, characterized in that the application of the mass is carried out on the inner side of the substrate, which is a hollow transparent body of revolution, by centrifugation.
