(EN) The invention relates to enamelling technology with transparent enamels of the surfaces of silver articles and is intended for use in the jewelry industry. Red transparent enamel under the influence of roasting changes its color to brown at the places of contact with the silver substrate due to a number of physicochemical reasons. Therefore, this enamel must be isolated from silver surfaces. The proposed method of laying red transparent enamel on the surface of silver products uses enamel isolation from silver by servicing the silver surface with gold solder. It is possible to exclude contact between enamel and silver without thickening of the enamel layer. The initial color of the enamel is preserved without increasing the probability of chipping.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

(EN) The invention relates to enameling technology with transparent enamels of silver jewelry, jewelry and tableware items and is intended for use in the jewelry industry.

A distinctive feature of red transparent enamels in comparison with other transparent enamels is the color instability at the border of the enamel coating and the silver surface, which appears as a darkening of the red color almost to the brownish-brown hue due to the burning of the enamel and the various physicochemical processes and phenomena that occur.

Therefore, the known protective measures against this undesirable effect are reduced to isolating red transparent enamel from silver.

A method for laying red transparent enamel on the surface of silverware is known, according to which an insulating layer of colorless transparent enamel (fondon) is laid between the enamel and the silver surface / 1 /. However, thickening of the enamel layer causes an increase in the probability of chipping.

The method of laying the red transparent enamel on the surface of silverware is closest to the claimed method according to essential features and industrial applicability, according to which a thin gold foil layer is fused into the first layer of the enamel, after which two more layers of red transparent enamel are applied in the usual way. / 2 /.

The considered method allows to eliminate darkening of enamel, but also leads to a thickening of the enamel layer, and consequently - to an increase in the probability of chipping.

The purpose of the invention was the development of a method for laying red transparent enamel on the surface of silver products, ensuring preservation of the initial color of the enamel without increasing the probability of chipping.

The goal is achieved due to the fact that during the implementation of the method of laying the red transparent enamel on the surface of silver products, in accordance with which during the enamelling process an intermediate layer of gold is formed, this layer is created on the surface of the silver product by its gold soldering.

In order to make the disclosed essence of the invention more understandable, let us consider an example of a specific embodiment of the claimed method for manufacturing a cast silver brooch in the technique of cloisonne enamel.

We have casting stock of silver brooch, the front surface of which is divided by partitions into separate sections, each of which must be covered with enamel of the color intended for it.

First, the workpiece is processed in the usual way (sawing, surface curling). Then the sections of the pattern between the partitions, which are to be covered with red transparent enamel, are washed with gold solder. Surplus solder that has fallen on adjacent areas is cleaned, the irradiated surface is leveled, after which the preparation and enameling of the product is carried out in the usual way.

The effectiveness of the proposed invention is ensured by the fact that the gold soldering of the surface of the silver to be enameled, on the one hand, reliably isolates the enamel from silver, and on the other hand does not increase the chipping probability, since it does not require thickening of the enamel coating.
