The technology of manufacturing a universal coupling for a non-welded, threadless, flanged connection of pipe sections in pipelines with a nominal operating pressure of 150 and more atmospheres. Term of introduction - 1,5-3 months.

I have developed a technology for manufacturing universal couplings made of various materials for BREW welding of pipe sections (metal and plastic) of various diameters and purposes. This method of connection differs from the known technology of the firm " Georg Fisher " in that the pipe segments are fixed not by compressing the sealing material around the pipe, which does not provide strength of the connection at high pressure and with the arrangement of pipes in the vertical plane, but by mechanically fixing the pipe segments in the coupling.

The strength of my joint is comparable to the strength of a single pipe with a nominal operating pressure of up to 150 atm . In addition, the method of the proposed connection, carried out manually, eliminates significant physical effort during installation. The use of a new clutch eliminates the threading and welding of the flanges. The connection is made at different angles.

The value of the coupling lies in the ubiquitous application, but above all in its use in difficult production conditions: in mines with gassed air and increased explosive danger, in factories, etc.

Benefits:

1) cheapness of the way;
2) convenience of installation (two pieces of pipe are inserted into the coupling on both sides and the parts of the coupling are rotated relative to each other);
3) welding and other labor-intensive operations are excluded;
4) cheapness of the coupling itself;
5) the possibility of connecting pipes of different materials and different diameters;
6) damage to the interior of the building is excluded when repairing pipes;
7) small contributions to production and the absence of competitors in the market;
8) increased demand.
