Cammerite crystallizes in the form of pseudohexagonal plates of light pink, violet-pink and light bluish-green coloration.
Origin.
This chromium-containing chlorite is formed during the transformation into serpentinite of an olivine rock enriched with chromium.
Place of Birth.
In Italy it is often found in the peridotite pyroxene-olivine rocks of Lokan in the Piedmont region, in serpentinites of Franchia in Val Malenco, in the rocks of a number of places in Val d'Aosta.
It occurs in the Kraubat deposit in Styria (Austria), in Miass in the Urals; In the Turkish province of Ercinkan and in various parts of the United States.
