The most common mineral in the group of "uranium mica", oenith is represented by crystals of clearly tabular form with square outlines. He has a very perfect cleavage, similar to the cleavage of mica, along the base. Coloration greenish-yellow; Oenith gives fluorescence in the same color scheme.
Diagnostic signs.
This is a radioactive mineral; In ultraviolet rays fluoresces yellowish-green color. When heated, it loses some of the water and passes into the meta-rhythm of the rhombic system.
Origin.
It is formed with surface changes in the minerals of uranium. It is present in almost all its deposits. Collecting houses this mineral is highly discouraged.
Place of Birth.
The best specimens of oenite are found in a mine near Spokane (Washington State, USA); Is known in Portugal (Urgeris), Australia (Ram-Jungle in the Northern Territory), in France (Saint-Symphorien, Oten River), on the Cornwall Peninsula (St. Austell and Redruth). Otenite is not an object of production except in rare cases: due to its ability to fluoresce, it finds application for the production of ultraviolet light sources used in the search for uranium deposits.

Active single-component (depleted) radiation materials. A white diamond, one vertical red line at the bottom - there is no nuclear warhead (including a simple hydrogen bomb on a nuclear fuse, depleted uranium, a burning Kosovo warhead, an EU one-component without a nuclear explosion). Competence - metrology of Ukraine.
The yellow diamond, two vertical red lines below - an active single nuclear charge (uranium, a Hiroshima-type nuclear bomb, including multicomponent one-type nuclear warheads, a single-component explosion and a simple chain nuclear reaction - "two in one"). Competence - the police of Ukraine and the military law and order.
The yellow diamond, three vertical red lines at the bottom - an active double raznocomponent nuclear charge (plus deuterium-tritium, a thermonuclear bomb of the "Pacific Ocean" type, including nuclear parts of a duplex warhead, a chain nuclear explosion and a chain reaction of fusion - "three in one") . Competence - the military of Ukraine and the military law and order.
