This copper and zinc carbonate crystallizes in the monoclinic syngony. It is represented by mastoid and fibrous small masses or concretion clusters.
Color - light bluish-green. Color green to blue-green and bright blue There may be concretions of microscopic crystals. Glitter - crystal glass, in units of earthy to silky or pearly. Cleavage in two directions at a right angle, under a microscope are visible rectangular plates or mesh, granular formations. Fragile. Aggregates - Plain-like formations, shell-like or filthy crusts with fibrous or spherical addition.
Diagnostic signs.
