Map of the Erlenberg WOT tactics

I do not know why, but it's the map of Erlenberg that reminds me of the events of World War II. And it seems that now the bullets will start to whistle, the airplanes will miss the air and the infantry will move to attack. There is something in it ... The map in the game appeared a long time ago and it was the first winter map. It represents a place, divided by a river in the middle, with a small town and a castle. The size of the map is 1000 by 1000 meters, and the level of fights is from 4 to 11. You can divide the map into key zones as follows:

In the sector the northern base is occupied by the defenders of the base anti-tank ACS   And the heavies attacking the north bridge. At the tactical level, the map is predictable enough. Divided by a river, it only allows for three directions of attack. Earlier, everyone considered it their duty to block all the bridges. Now it happens less often. And there is no point in this.

In the sectors of the gorge and the city take the position of the most impatient medium   and   Light tanks . They seek to seize the base at any cost. After all, to the base of the enemy to give and this is the shortest way to it. The sectors of the hill and the castle are the place of fierce battle of strikes and the st of both teams. Artillery also has a place to turn around. Not far from the repos there are shelters with small depressions where you can hide and shoot almost the entire map. But let's talk about everything in order. Attacks from different repos are slightly different from each other. First of all, this is due to the terrain.

On the right and left are the large hills. That's where the tanks try to hide from the enemy's artillery fire. Shelter is not very reliable, but all the same. The first team often begins its attack in the first sector, in squares C2, B2. Often, northern and southern bridges are used to attack. The central bridge was somehow discouraged. I do not see any good reasons, but it's true. Defense of the first team is best to occupy the castle. This is the most convenient and safe position. As the experience of the last random battles shows, the tanks of the first team are divided into two groups: one attacks through the north bridge, the other - through the southern one. Which of them is easier I will not say. That some that others are in the open area and the art of getting on them is difficult, but possible.

Even if enemy tanks on these tracks are destroyed, there will still be a little light, which would incline the scale in favor of the enemy. I would advise to attack via the central bridge. In the town there is where to hide and in case of what you can immediately become a seizure. To send there all the forces is not worth it. CT is best to stick to the standard tactics and go to the squares of H9, G9. Their speed and maneuverability will help them in this.

Attack from the second base is also predictable. This is the north and south bridge. Although from the second base they prefer to attack through the southern, and on the northern one - only to defend themselves. Although strzhi and st there also like to ride. Only why? It is seen there is good, especially if the enemy took a position at the central bridge, then to shoot your tanks in the stern is a sweet thing.

The southern bridge also has its own difficulties. The fact is that enemy PTs appear right here. And this means that you can shine, and you will not even notice who does it. Give preference to any of the directions is difficult: and there and then its own characteristics. Attack via the central bridge is just not right. With the lock your tanks are clearly visible and destroy them will not be difficult. Therefore, top and bottom bridges remain priority. But which one to choose is up to you.
