The Karelia play card is one of the very first cards in the game. Covered with swampy terrain, rocks and stony precipices. As such, there are no buildings here (unless, of course, the church on the mountain is considered). But this does not prevent tanks from hiding on it from enemy fire: the mass of stones, relief hiding places, allow doing this unhindered. To achieve success in battle when playing at this location, you need to focus your forces on one of the main directions. The size of the map is 1000 by 1000 meters, the level of fighting is from 3 to 11. About this now and talk.

It so happened that the map is divided into three main sectors: the road, the plateau and the gorge.

Let's talk a little more about them.

So, the road. I remember my first fight on this map, I drove, that there is urine in a straight line (road) and when I heard "The tank destroyed" was surprised to the core. Then came the realization that this is a road for light (or for suicide bombers). The purpose of the movement of tanks in this sector is only light And a small cover of the base from the arrogant enemies.

Gorge . A favorite place for fighting "folders" ( strings ). They are all going there together, as one and the other side and begin to kill each other slowly.

Plateau . Unjustifiably forgotten sector in the game. Now it began to pay attention to less. But in vain. Flight of the plateau flight of St-shek , supported by strands, can decide the outcome of the battle.

Tactics.

Now let's move directly to the tactical component of the map. In the first minutes of the fight, the situation on both spawns is approximately the same: the tanks are divided into three groups - those who will cover the road, and catch the light, those who go to the gorge and, in fact, those who go to the plateau. The most important advantage here is speed. As the experience of random battles shows, the priority now is the direction "Gorge". The outcome of the battle, basically, is decided here.

The main thing is to occupy advantageous positions earlier than a highly esteemed opponent will do. Both from the second and from the first base, there is no special advantage for the opposing forces. But! From the second base, it is easier to get into the square of H7-G7 than from the first. But the strings that have rushed from the second base are more vulnerable to the fire of the art than their counterparts from the first, since they are in a more open area. But these features will be considered below. The task of groups of tanks that went to the plateau and the road, just to deter the enemy offensive (if priority is chosen gorge).

And so, consider the attack of tanks from the second base. As already mentioned, they have a number of their advantages, which only need to have time to use. The figure shows everything is quite schematic, do not take the number of tanks as reliable.

Here is a tactic, where the gorge is chosen as the priority (in connection with current trends). On the directions of the plateau and the road, the task of the tanks remains the same - to restrain the offensive of the enemies. In the ravine for the strings the main place to take the marked places (square J7, G9). In the square J8 it is better to go with such maneuverable and fast strings as the "Seven" and the French. They will not allow enemy tanks to enter the tanks in the G9 square into the flank. In this square, it is better to leave the " Mouse ", E-100 or IS-4 . The task of the CT in this direction is to break into the square G7 and shine the road, and also to help your comrades on the plateau, since from this point the enemy is very well seen. And also the light on the road and the help of the "dads" that lead the fight downstairs. As for Fri and Art , they should cover their teammates, being in squares F0, A0 and directly on the base.

Now the first rep. Situations, in principle, are identical. But there is one "but". Tanks attacking the gorge, use the terrain for cover is easier. These are the squares of H9, H0. There is a deep hollow, which gives the opportunity to fire the enemy from the flanks. To send there the best of Americans - they have strong enough towers (and only the enemy will see them). The road and the plateau are again used only as an obstacle.

Well, probably, that's all. Yes, you will say that this is not enough. And I will answer that you are right. But in order to consider all the tactical features of "Karelia", you must write almost a book. After all, there are many options for achieving victory: rush in the center, attack ST-shek on the plateau, armored impact is heavy on the gorge, etc. etc. This is the smallest.
