Classification of investigative situations.

Investigative situation - the totality of circumstances prevailing at the time of the investigation, which are taken into account in the development and implementation of further investigation.

The investigation situation has legal, information, technical and tactical-forensic, methodological, organizational and managerial and operational-investigative aspects.

Its characteristic features are the objectivity of the content and the fact that it is formed by such circumstances, which are elements of the system of the investigation conducted in the case. They include:

1 class;

2) the type and characteristics of cognizable objects;

3) spent and remaining time of investigation;

4) evidence collected in the case.

As a general and particular classification of investigative situations, their various characteristics and specific properties are used.

General, or basic, include classifications that are built on the basis of the order of situations. Allocate:

1) initial, or initial;

2) intermediate;

3) final situations;

4) the situation of the initial, subsequent and final stages of the investigation.

Another classification is based on differences in the level of situations. Allocate:

1) situation of strategic importance. Arise when solving the tasks of investigation

A) the establishment of circumstances that are included in the subject of proof;

B) identification of the identity and location of the offender;

C) detection of the victim's corpse;

D) the identification and disclosure of other crimes of the accused, information about which was obtained after the institution of the criminal case;

2) situation of a tactical nature.

Arise in the preparation of the investigative action and in the process of its production in connection with the solution of the tasks of this action. Situations are divided into:

1) problematic and problem-free;

2) favorable and unfavorable;

3) conflict and conflict-free;

4) simple and complex.
