COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES

- Interstate association formed by Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

For the purposes of cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other areas of 8 December 1991 it had signed an agreement establishing the CIS. 8) cooperation in defense policy and protection of external borders.

2) The Council of Foreign Ministers;

3) Interstate Economic Council;

4) Inter-Parliamentary Assembly;

5) Coordination and Advisory Committee.
