STATE SYMBOLS

RF is

Special designations that are a means of official representation of the Russian Federation in external and internal relations, which is why they are especially protected by law. GS RF are:

1) The State Emblem of the Russian Federation;

2) The national flag of the Russian Federation;

3) The national anthem of the Russian Federation.

GS RF provides representation of the RF in the country and in other countries of the world and express the presence of sovereignty in the Russian Federation.

They are subject to special state protection, therefore it is prohibited and prosecuted:

1) outrages over GS RF in any form (for example, public destruction of the flag of the Russian Federation, distortion of the anthem of the Russian Federation, or mockery and mockery of the Russian coat of arms);

2) the use of GS with violation of the procedure established by federal legislation.

The status of public symbols

Sovereignty of the Russian Federation is regulated by FKZ "On the State Emblem of the Russian Federation".

The capital of the Russian Federation is Moscow. Its legal status is characterized from two sides:

2) Moscow is a city of federal significance; It has simultaneously the rights and status of the subject of the Russian Federation and the city.

Moscow acts in relations with the Russian Federation as an independent entity and as the center of all of Russia, its state capital. The peculiarity of the status of the capital is that it appears to be the face of the entire Russian Federation in international relations.
