TRANSPORT DOCUMENT

- a document confirming the conclusion of the contract of carriage of the goods. Types of T.D .:

1) waybill (on railway, inland waterway transport);

2) a waybill (by air transport);

3) commodity-transport waybill (on motor transport);

4) a bill of lading (by sea). TD can be:

1) registered - issued in the name of a certain consignee;

2) bearer - issued to the person specified in TD

TD can have turnover and are securities.

TD is required when presenting a claim to the carrier. His absence serves as a ground for the carrier to refuse to accept a claim for consideration.
